PoCo Village Early Learning Centre Ltd.

My daughter has been attending PoCo Village Early Learning Centre for a year and a half. She is always talking about how much she loves going to “friends”! We love it too. Krystle, Komela and Jobena are so great with the kids.They are encouraged to learn through exploration and play. The kids are always trying something new and allowed to get messy - it’s fantastic. I always drop her off knowing that she is going to be well cared for and have a great time learning with her friends. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely environment for kids to spend their day. I am grateful for loving care and guidance my daughter receives from staff and they are amazing with warm heart. I would recommend who is seeking for a childcare space with a high quality service and very reasonable price.

This review will be long and hopefully will accurately articulate all the hard work and dedication that Poco Village Early Learning Centre puts into their children and families.I came across poco village by chance when I had to abruptly pull my son from his previous daycare as things were going on that were not conducive to my parenting style and communication was lacking severely. We were welcomed with open arms.My son was one of the first intakes at poco village and he began here just before his 3rd birthday. You can read about poco villages philosophy regarding children on their website and rest assured they practice this vigorously everyday. Naturally as parents we wonder about play based learning vs more academic or structured styles ( I sure did ). We want our children to succeed. Poco village is play based learning and they take this very seriously in the least serious way possible. The kids get outside everyday and they play, they get dirty, their curious minds guide them with the help and support of the most wonderful staff anyone could entrust their children with. They promote healthy relationships among the children and really engage with the children throughout the day. The communication that parents get to have with the caregivers is always open and transparent.My son has recently left the center because he just started kindergarten. I wanted to wait a few weeks to write my review so I could share my observations of his entry in to school with the big kids. Well I am amazed. His transition has been effortless, he was ready and prepared for kindergarten. He has already made many friends and plays so well with them. He is learning at a rate that I am shocked by (he is in french immersion). I am absolutely confident saying that I owe the wonderful staff at poco village my greatest gratitude for all of the preliminary work they did by providing my son with everything a young child needs. love, care, security, guidance, healthy/safe boundaries, new learning opportunities, unstructured play and the list goes on.While my son attended poco village I was completing my bachelors of science in nursing which took a lot of my time away. I am so grateful that I chose poco village to provide my son with all the things that required the time I did not have. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Komela, Krystle, Jobena and all other staff at poco village who work so hard to create this special space for our children to thrive. Poco Village Early Learning Centre comes with my highest recommendation.

its a beautiful and resourceful place for your chi;d to learn through play. Krystle is a calm and very patient and enjoys children. I have known Krystle for a long time and have observed her interact with children with respect and love. Your child is not just going to love the experience at her facility but all her love and kindness...All the best Krystle, and wish you all success..

My son loves this daycare. He always has fun and there is a good balance of outdoor time and indoor. Location is also great right near the park. I highly recommend this daycare. The staff and owner are also passionate and friendly.

Recently taken over by new owners, was very sad to see the other ownership leave. That being said, we see positive improvements and cool things happening… weekly Yoga, martial arts, music class, recently they had a reading challenge! They’ve restructured to have more learning with letters, numbers and themes. Lots of outside play being so close to the park.

The owner and staff members are kind and har working. The programs that have been made are brilliant for young kids who need specific development and care. The facilities are amazing and this is the daycare center that is highly recommended in the community. THUMBS UP

Highly recommend this daycare - they have been amazing for my son, and he has a blast every day he's there. We were worried about the transition and they eased our worries quickly and professionally, even on the hard days where M cries as he's dropped off they're very adept at soothing and redirecting him and ensuring he's engaged in other activities and having a wonderful day. The progress he's made, communication and socialization etc, is phenomenal.

My son started daycare this month, and we are very happy that we chose Poco Village Early Learning Centre. Krystle, Komela and the staff there are very friendly and patient with my son. They made his transition from home to daycare a lot easier and smoother. I share the same belief about learning with them, and I'm so glad that my son gets to be outdoors exploring and playing everyday rain or shine. I'm sure I will have more good things to say about them in a year or two. :)

Great center!! The teachers are very kind and the programs are absolutely amazing! This is a great daycare center! I highly recommend it!!!!!! The daycare provides great opportunities for yeong kids who vitally needs these kind of opportunities! The environment is great as well the daycare provides a great share of kindness and hard work.
