I am only giving 4 stars because we have had to put down two cats here .. my latest just a couple days ago otherwise you get 5 stars. Pricy yes but honestly you get what you pay for. They have the kindest staff who really respect your animal even after putting them down. They are sad to see animals go but supportive when the animal was pretty sick. Thank you for the kind words on the card you sent afterwards and the follow up phone call.

I was going to this clinic for over 12 years. We had a dog with chronic dental issues over the that time. Everytime we went in for dental work prices increased. I understand prices go up because costs go up but when it got to 2200 dollars I went and ask for another opinion. Went to my mother's vet clinic which she has used for 15 years with her dog and the price was half. I was blown away. I couldn't believe I was getting taken to the cleaners. I guess they're love for money out weights they're love for pets. I understand it's a business and everyone must profit but taken advantage of people is not right. The vet I'm using now also found more bladder stones. We had done that surgery with VCA a year ago. That bill was $5000. Our new vet felt so bad because they had done the dental surgery 2 weeks ago gave me a bill of $1100. That shows how much VCA are over billing families. I wouldn't go there unless you like throwing money away.

The staff here are beyond helpful and professional and friendly. Their caring nature shines everytime you enter. They welcome all size dogs with open and caring arms. The vets are very knowledgeable and thorough in their exams and work collaboratively with their clients. Highly recommend.

As a Veterinary Nursing student with multiple pet cats, I was very picky when I decided on choosing a new vet. After finding this team, my search is over; these guys are amazing. Fear free certified staff and facility, well informed client education, and A+ customer service have left me thankful and appreciative. My newest cat came to get his neuter done recently and the staff were so welcoming, kind, and thorough when I had questions about their safety protocols (which exceeded my expectations). Cost was no worse than other vets, and they were not pushy at all with product selling. My cat is happy, healthy, I feel well informed and I will gladly be coming back!Thanks to Dr. Kayla Sangster & the team at VCA Oshawa Animal Hospitals, Incredible service.

Wonderful, knowledgeable staff. We had an emergency as my dog got a wound on his foot and they took us immediately. We called 10 clinics and they were the only ones that accepted us. We are very lucky and thankful to them. My dog loves going there. He didn't like the vet clinic where he got nutured and it was a challenge to get him inside. We have no challenges to get him through the door. Very inviting and welcoming environment! They took a picture of our dog and gave us a print out and put his picture on his pill bag. Such a wonderful and caring touch!

Great facility, friendly staff.Just had my puppy Archie's 4 week training class at VCA Oshawa with Jan and not only was it informative, but it was fun as well. Great place to meet other dog lovers and share some fun with our new Fur-babies. If you want to teach your dog the basics or advanced, give Jan a call at VCA Oshawa.

My cat had(has) severe dental issues and a possible growth in his mouth. The Tech Kim in Oshawa was extraordinary; being very patient and understanding giving alot of info. They were able to get Ollie into surgery. Dr. Pollock calling with concerns and explanations during the procedure. Very caring afterwards. We now wait for biopsy results. The staff there are awesome. Only criticism is they are above priced compared with the Vets in the area but I felt my cat was in the best of hands and I wasn't about to go bargain hunting concerning my furbaby!
