One of the first things we did on moving into a new-to-us home was to have Peter install 4 pairs of side out drawers and adapt what had been a TV cabinet with one slide out drawer and separators for platters, etc. We love the end result and show them off all the time. The pull out shelves built and installed by Peter Steele of Custom Slideout Shelvling have made a huge difference to the ease of use of my kitchen. I have an additional drawer for utensils and am able easily to access all my pots and pans without having to take everything out to reach them. or get down on the floor. Additionally, Peter was super professional and a delight to have in my home. The work was done to perfection and the cost was reasonable.

We purchased and installed 21 drawers in 2021 and they have been great! They are easy to install and made our cabinets way more functional and spacious. Further, Peter gave some great advice the change out vertical supports for horizontal ones to make a couple of the slides outs the full width of the cabinet. Thanks Peter.

I first found Peter and Custom Slideout Shelves in 2016. Peter fitted our basic condo kitchen and bathrooms with functional and attractive birch wood drawers. He was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The drawers are excellent in quality and have an incredible weight capacity. I have one loaded with cans and it still slides smoothly after all these years. I have recommended Peter to my friends and recently Peter outfitted the bathrooms and kitchen of my aunt’s condo. We live in a Mid-Century Modern architect-designed house that was built in 1956. Virtualy everything in the home is original including the wallnut kitchen cabinetry which we both love, and hate. Although beautiful to look at, kitchen design in the 50's was not as clever and efficient as it has since become. Gutting and replacing the kitchen was not an option for us for various reasons. I provided Peter with the measurements for my base cabinets and he arrived with 12 maple drawers that were installed quickly & efficiently my measurements were pretty accurate and only 1 cabinet measurement was off a tiny bit and Peter was able to adjust to fit. they are so well made and increased my useable space significantly.
