Wild Goose Lake Campground

Amazing views, owners are wonderful, clean, quiet park, great rates. If you are looking for somewhere to go camping and enjoy the outdoors this is a fantastic campground

My friend and I camped here on a motorcycle trip around Lake Superior. We were treated like locals and everyone was very helpful and super nice. It's a great campground with great owners that are always looking to improve the property to make even a belter place to camp.I can't express enough how great it was to stay here. I would be back every year but it's over a over 1000 miles from my house. I need to plan anther trip that includes Wild Goose Lake Campground. - Cheers!

Pros : - Beautiful view of the lake and nature all around.- Friendly owners.Cons: -The wifi signal keeps dropping and reconnectingunfortunately (comes with being way up north).-The bathroom wasn't clean (bins overflowing, dirty shower,dead spiders that you could see have been there a while, astrange lingering smell).- Only one big dumpster to throw away garbage, which unfortunately was smelling really bad (due to size and amount of garbage in there).- No dedicated site to wash dishes when you're camping in a tent overlooking the lake (think there was one down at the lakeside but it's a bit far/steep to walk in the dark).

Beautiful spot. Quiet. Mature trees. Lake was so pretty and clean. Our dog and kids enjoyed a swim after a long day of driving. The pull through sites were nice so we didn't have to unhook our vehicle. Very reasonably priced. Thanks for the stay!

It's not bad, the hill coming in wasn't bad to navigate, we didn't use the laundry or bathrooms. The trees are tall and it was quiet while we were there. The internet was fine for email, a little slow but OK. No phone service here but they had a pay phone by the washrooms.

Greg and Jacquie are great hosts always helpful the cabins are very well kept and up to date. The fishing is great on Wildgoose and there are many other lakes just a short drive away. I booked this years trip before I left the camp last year. Looking forward too another great week.

Beautiful wooded grounds with a lovely lake. There is a marsh close by so the bugs are a bit extreme. The wifi worked great for our tv to watch Netflix and even for my son to game online however it does appear a bit spotty on the cell. There is no reception at the lot but they have provided a couple pay phones if you need it. Very quiet location and even thou it was quite full with what seems like full time residents we didn’t see anyone. We only stayed one night so we did not fish, the beach appears to be more of a loading zone for boats than one to swim or suntan at. There is no general store so make sure you are stocked when you arrived. The signage is a little bit confusing as there is another campground next door that has a general store but after walking half a mile I was unable to find it or get any real direction as to where it was or what was even available if I did. If you are tenting beware the showers. Doesn’t look like it’s taken care of on a daily basis, dirty, lots of bugs that have taken up permanent residence. We had an issue with our rv’s hot water tank and needed to use them. Otherwise seems like a fisherman’s dream.

Awesome owners, nice camp grounds, can't buy a view like they have at the lake, grounds are nicely kept and quiet...

Great people.. Great fishing made 2 trips this year from Mississauga. One trip with the Family pulling a 25ft tt. Trip number 2 was with the boys to do some fishing. again pulled the 25ft tt..Bridget is vary nice and helpful. Fish cleaning station great for cleaning all the fish. Clean washrooms and hot showers. All in all it is a beautiful campground with that personalized experience. BTW fishing was GREAT!!!.
