My fiancé and I stopped in on our way through Wawa, I had the Pork Chops with mashed potatoes, and my fiancé had the buffalo chicken wrap. Both meals were phenomenal! Serving sizes were very generous, the food arrived very quick, the waitress was very polite and on the ball serving us. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through!

My only complaint is the hours. was doing a long road trip, across canada, decided to stay the night at Wawa cause this place looked amazing to spend the night before catching some z's. Checked into a hotel down the street at 9:00 after 10 hours of driving and barely eating and was super excited!walked down the street and arrived here at 9:40 and was told they already did last call. Manager said they would still do food, if we got it to go or could eat quickly and order quickly which we did. food was great no complaints! atmospere was great too, would have loved to actually spend a few hours it was beautiful.Over all a very great hidden gem in the middle of nowhere, but look at the hours before you plan on going here.

I'd like for this to be a 4-5 star review as the staff are very friendly and the decor is lovely but alot doesn't add up.Let's start with the positives, the bar and seating area with the beams filled with all sorts of wild taxidermy is a northern touch. The inside has great updates and comfy seating.The staff are lovely, the bartender who I see there almost every visit is great at his job. Engaging and prompt. Great conversation.This visit we had a young lady that was very friendly and asked all the right questions. She recieved a 25% tip to compliment her performance.Now... I believe this must stem from a top up thing because 88 dollars pre tip for two burgers, fries, and two beers seems a bit ridiculous if they are not of the fine dining quality. Which they are not. But I would have accepted the cost if they were just extra delicious. They were alright. The fries are the crispy kind so you can't really go wrong but super surprised you couldn't substitute for a salad... Why not? The burger didn't even seem homemade.... Ate down the road and got appetizers, and meals for 3 for less than the same price of this.

Stopped in for a quick bite on a rainy day and had a good little Rueben sandwich, not a classic but a good fill. $11.99 sandwich only.Quick service and pleasant experience.Of note: when I got the bill, at the bottom there was the calculation of suggested tip 15/18/20% and the amount.........I did the calculations and the math was based on the pre tax total which I was not expecting but which is correct.When I paid through the debit machine, the same options were given 15/18/20% BUT the calculation was done on the total amount of the bill and not the pre tax subtotal.Although both can be acceptable, I find this process misleading.With my bill the difference was only $1 and change but on a group bill of $200, that difference would be $20 or more.

My brother and I have been visiting Wawa our entire lives. Unfortunately, a lot of restaurants have come and gone. We had dinner here two nights in a row, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Tonight we had the spinach dip and outdoorsman pizza. The food was excellent, and the service was great. I don’t understand people complaining about prices at a restaurant like this in a place like Wawa. They are a hundred miles from the next city, rely largely on seasonal tourism, and have had the pandemic to deal with. People need to just enjoy the experience for what it is and not grade the place like it’s a steakhouse in a big city. This is a nice restaurant in a great little town in Canada. I sincerely hope they are around for many years to come and I wish them great success in the future.

Hunting lodge feel with lots of mounted game on the walls and antler chandeliers. This atmosphere was slightly marred by the several large screens mounted, but I understand the necessity.Breakfast was fair quality - pancakes were fluffy, hollandaise sauce was a little bland, coffee was a bit weak - but plentiful and filling. I really appreciated the pepper grinder and hot sauce at the table.Service was excellent - friendly, attentive, quick, and precise.

This restaurant should be avoided at all costs. My son and I came in for dinner in February from a day sledding, and ordered the steak. First the steak was expensive, over 40$, but completly inedible. It was dry and like leather. It turns out it had been cooked from being frozen, a total no no when cooking meat. This should never happen at any restaurant.The staff admitted that this was what was being done. Everyone ordering a steak was essentially being scammed...and paying through the teeth for the privilege.The staff gave us the owner's name and phone number. I followed it up and left several messages, thinking he would admit the obvious and give us our money back.He never responded.Wawa doesnt need unscrupulous restauranteurs...it damages the whole town's tourist reputation and we found out is resented by other operators who try to do well with their customers.In the end, given the lack of owner concern, I felt we were had and even predated upon.Cooking a steak from frozen...it needs to first be thawed.. is forseeably ruining the meat and taking a health risk. The expensive steak was reduced to dry leather without a semblance of moisture.That an owner would do this to his customers is reprehensible.Unbelivably this was not the only reprehensible owner conduct. I suggested to the staff that I didnt want to pay for the steak. However I was told by staff that the cost of the meal would come out of their pay!!! I was not prepared to see the wait staff penalized for the decision of the owner and I did pay, thinking that the owner woild make things right if I contacted him. As mentioned, he never responded to my call.I was later told by our hotel that he would not likely respond. The owner seems to have a poor reputation in town.So to sum up..this restaurant is as horrible to its own staff as it is to its customers who it rips off with shoddy food handling practices. Reprehensible, disgusting, unfair, reckless, cruel...pick your adjective, but we will never come back here.

Best restaurant in the area! Newly renovated with a robust menu with lots of delicious options at great prices. The super friendly staff is the cherry on top which allows for the perfect dining experience in Wawa. When driving on Hwy 17 turn right when you see the big goose and then keep going until you see the second goose on the left and you’ll end up at this hidden gem.Be sure to try their Fish Bowl drinks, not to be missed!!
