Running Room

The guy who works here has a terrible attitude like really really rude. I do not want to purchase a shoe here even if I really like it. That I literally want to go and buy from another running room just so I don’t have to deal with him. Also, unlike other running shoe associates, he has no knowledge abour shoe. In fact he embarrasses you for asking him questions. I see other similar reviews. Like how is he still working here??

Unsure why there are so many poor reviews of this location. The store manager was incredibly knowledgeable and spent 20 mins helping me decide what to purchase, even though I told him I’m not ready to make a purchase at the moment. He also spent time walking through the biomechanics of the body and how shoe choices influence movement. I enjoyed speaking with him. So helpful, and so kind. He may not have been the most energetic extraverted guy in the world right off the bat but who is? recommend!

I went to the running room today for a new pair of shoes, as my old ones are giving me very particular foot pain... which is spreading, due to how frequently I run. The sales associate was extremely helpful and efficient. I think a lot of these reviews are non-neurodivergent people assessing a neurodivergent person's social skills. As an also neurodivergent person, my interaction was calm, easy, to the point, and I cannot stress enough *efficient*. Everyone communicates differently. I think it is important to consider this before placing judgment. I, personally, would recommend this location to anyone who wants a skilled eye in assessment without too much Canadiana banter.

I came into the store today with my dog which is an ESA and the sales person pushed us out the store. He said I could not have her in the store. He did not even ask if she was a service animal or a emotion support animal. I have brought my dog in to many stores within the Toronto path and has never been asked to remove my dog unless it was a place that served food and even those places would ask first if my dog is a service animal or an ESA. Terrible customer service, would not recommend anyone to shop here.

A big part of why I went to running room is because of the customer service and customized feedback I hear about from friends. Since every foot is slightly different and I’m new to this space, I appreciate when the person I’m speaking to is well informed on this space and patient. I did not feel that at all. The store associate was curt, inattentive, dismissive and I ended leaving the store deciding to go elsewhere because of how poor the experience was. This was my first running room experience and I am hesitant on going back.

I went to the Wellington location today in order to exchange a pair a shoes I had bought earlier this week (at another location, where I had an excellent and extremely helpful experience).Even though I ultimately found shoes I liked, my experience at the Wellington location was just terrible. By the end of my visit (even by the middle of it, actually), I felt that the male associate (only one working at the time) just wanted me out of the shop, as if I was wasting his time.I had gone into the store with an idea of what I wanted, which I think suited him as he didn't have to do the work of actually helping me out a lot. However, when the shoes I thought I wanted didn't work out, the associate didn't even bother proposing any alternatives. He simply told me to go home and do more research" and asked "ok well

I am not surprised reading all the other reviews to see that I am not the only one who had a bad experience. The one sales associate with the mask on was so cold and not interested at all to help. It was like I was intruding! Why is he still working there is beyond me. Maybe he is the store owner else there is no way he would still be there. Now on the plus side, I spoke with another sales associate and his name was Bryan or Brian. He was good and helpful and will be the only reason I would ever go back. I'll call before going to make sure he is working that day. No way I will be dealing with the other guy. Again I think the other guy is the owner of the store. Either way it was not a great experience.

DO NOT ONLINE SHOP HERE.Tried to make a purchase online and didn’t go through after several attempts(even different browsers and cards). Wasn’t able to buy what I wanted. To add insult to injury, I was notified by Running Room that my credit card details were hacked and someone used my card to make a $2000 purchase. Horrible customer service and experience!

The guy that works at this location is a total jerk. He was unhelpful and rude.I asked help with the prepaid card and he gave me a curt refusal to help.I felt insulted and upset to say the least. Never going back to this location. Staff member at this location does not deserve to hold this job and ruin guest experience.I got excellent service with at the Kingsway Running Room where Anna helped me redeem my prepaid card and place online order.

I recently had a disappointing customer experience with a particular representative at your establishment, and it seems that similar concerns have been raised by other reviewers here. While I understand that occasional hiccups can occur in any customer service setting, the consistent lack of professionalism and unhelpful attitude displayed by this representative compelled me to share my feedback.During my interaction, I encountered multiple instances where the representative's responses were discourteous and dismissive.
