Dont move here , if you are looking for peace and quiet and good management . This apartment has many horrible loud dogs that cry and whine all day and management wont do anything about it . Im trying to contact Municipal Law Enforcement to see what else i can do . ill upload videos to youtube so you can see for yourself , so ill edit this review soon with links .

Pharoah ants will eat you alive daily, the cockroaches thrive using all the old tunnels built from 20 years ago and I’m told bats live on top floors. The chemical load being dumped in individual units weekly have created a high level toxic residue risk due to the overuse and many residents are now sick from the Permethrin. Do not rent here if you want to live in peace and keep your good health because bwalk doesn’t care, they all live off site in comfy homes while profiting off the backs of the trapped residents they created.

I’ve lived in this building for over 10 years. I’ve found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Maintenance work is done quickly and professionally although the guys always seem rushed lately. I lived through the “bugs and garbage chute” issues and that’s one major reason why I’m not giving a 5 star score. But since then there has been quite a bit of work done inside and outside the building. It’s an older building so major unkempt like redoing all the balconies can be a bit disruptive. The old-fashioned hot water heating system is really archaic and wasteful. The heat is either on full or off so windows are open most of the winter to keep the temperature a little cooler. Absolutely disappointed by the new indoor a/c units. They’re noisy, ugly and not at all powerful enough for the average apartment. There has got to be a better option! I’d love to see a “seniors” hour for the pool that could use the addition of an angled ramp for better access by disabled tenants. There is family time and adult time, neither of which is workable for seniors. As noted, I’ve been here over 10 years. As required, worn out appliances have been replaced and the bathroom floor was refinished, however I’m living with worn out old carpet and dingey walls that may never get updated. Yes, dogs bark, kids yell, hockey fans get a little loud and boisterous but my view looks into a quiet and peaceful green space with mature trees and a family of crazy squirrels. Can’t beat that!

The place exceeded my expectations. Quiet, nice apartment, simple but has everything needed. Clean halls, The elevators I would say need updates keep having problems and the dog smell and no air in them is something I don't like but hey.... overall I recommend this building. Staff amazing... happy to be here :)

I cannot express how much you shouldn’t move here. They are horrible owners, and staff is even worse. No communication between workers, having random men show up at my door for unknown maintenance. I have been gone since May and they’re still bugging me through email and phone calls. I also had an OCD clean apartment and still had ants all year every year!! They said it was ‘because of the concrete outside’. No way

Please for the love of god do not move here, you will regret it. The rumor is true, their are in fact bugs in the building, but that is not the only issue. The staff is having some sort of power trip and will kick you out of the building if you do not meet their requirements to a T.On top of that they will of course make issues for you out of nothing, giving you warnings for things that you have no control of or that are just imaginary and have had no part of. They will punish the entire building for someone elses mistakes by closing off the garbage chute and the laundry rooms. The staff are very malicious and will play games with you when it comes to asking for help or some sort of communication. Instead of accepting fault they push the blame onto others and ultimately remove them from the building and when the problem continues they move onto another.Despite their quick to respond to these reviews they have no real intentions of helping you, especially if you live in the building. Please, unless you are desperate to find a home, look elsewhere, especially if you have a family. These people care for nothing other than outside appearances and nothing for the people who live in these buildings. Right now they are trying to renovate to convert the building into something more appealing to the eyes but unfortunately due to these issues it will not work.

Bug problem and Malicious staff! After a family moved in the whole building has gotten a bug problem and rather than try and fix it the staff has instead done everything possible to be malicious and not fix the issue or employ a horrible company to do the sprays who have more than once not even bothered spraying or just did a horrible job. Constantly punishing people for things out of their control. Laundry room being closed, Garbage chute being closed. Not only that but framing people who live in the building so they can pass blame. Not cool. Place started out great but has gotten worse. Some sort of weird power trip over there. Constant messing with people and on top of that they raised the rent.

Place was horrible. Had a drug dealer down the hall the management knew about and did nothing. Had a domestic violence incident next to us and management did very little. Homeless people in the basement and garage. Bed bugs and coach roaches and getting a hold of someone was a joke. After we moved out they didn’t do an inspection because management didn’t have the time. Only to tell us we need to pay for repair and repainting. STAY AWAY

This place is a mess. Office management only answers call when they want too. Constant elevator issues anyways down People going through garbage on constant basis Got one guy who constantly drives either lawn tractor or he’s pushing a bladeThis joint has been going down hill for years problem with the underground parking is consistant Homeless sleeping in halls. Management like jazzlynn keeps throwing her weight around

Board walk at forest city estates needs the land lord tenants board to clamp down on these people. The office staff and their boss seems to throw their weight around and whatever they say is written in stone.And yes the land lord and remnant act has a open file on this organization
