I recently sent my EOS 60D for service. viewfinder was showing dirt and smudge on the mirrors which folds inside. I chose the basic image sensor cleaning service which costed around 78 CAD which includes Clean Mirror. I mentioned in the comments that there are dirts and smudges, not sure on lens or mirror and sent my 18-135mm lens along with camera. After few days Camera was sent back stating service complete with no feedback or report of what was done. The dirt and smudges are still in the mirror and was not cleaned. Called the customer care and was informed that parts are not available for this model which is fair because its an old model, atleast they should read comments and test few shots to really understand what the issue was, rather than sending back. Also they should call the customer and ask about the issue. Dissappointed...These were the services which are part of image sensor cleaning service which i paid for and believe they did.Verify Firmware Version and Update if RequiredClean Image SensorClean External LCD SurfaceClean Camera BodyClean External ViewfinderClean Focus Screen

I have been a loyal Canon customer since my first A-1 purchased in 1977. Repair services have always been a great differentiator for me, and I have relied on Canon support for all of my equipment since my very first purchase. However, this pandemic situation has me totally disillusioned. No walk-ins are allowed. Repairs are only accepted by courier, even though I live 15 minutes away from their service facility. For over 18 months I have resisted having the repair made due to the $300 plus charge every courier charges for the insurance (it's an expensive lens). Today, upon inquiry, the Canon Representative can't even tell me when this embargo will be lifted. So I continue to wait. Maybe another year? Maybe two? Nothing but great service for decades, then this?

I couldn’t say how regret I am when made a purchase here. The whole process was a mess. The customer service is non sense.I placed an order a camera on October 13 night time. I wanted to change to another camera so right in the morning October 14 I called to cancel because the order will not be shipped yet. The lady from customer service told me I cannot cancel. I have to wait for the shipment and refuse it. I’m living in a condo and all the shipment will be held at the front desk. It’s delivered at 8am there and I totally had no chance to refuse. Then I agreed to pay myself to return, the customer service sent me the wrong return shipping address!!! No one replied my email, I had to keep calling until one picked up my phone, so I had to reroute the shipment.It was delivered on October 19, you guys kept asking me to wait 5-7 business day.Now is November 5, Mike- the one who was in charge didn’t respond me at all.I called in and received an answer they don’t know what’s going on, they received it and had checked it was okay to refund but no idea why it was not processed. They dont know when they will pay me back. Excuses me?! Can you guys please have a clear answer for me? It’s unbelievable service as a big company

I bought a Canon TR4527 printer last year and it got broken within a year and can get it to work or fixed. The wifi/wireless connection automatically disabled.Won't purchase anything canon again.

I called the Canon help line in Mississauga because my printer was not working properly. It was communicating with my ipad, but not printing the data. Blank pages only. The technician who answered the phone (yes, it was a real person), Raj, was helpful and positive. He told me that he could fix the problem, which he did. He was polite and knowledgeable. He tried many possible solutions and finally together we found the right one - downloading documents as opposed to printing them as attachments to mail. Thank you Raj for your excellent service and your patience with this senior!!

Canon printers equals garbage after one year. There is no costumer service or support. Just waste of time and money.Disappointed!

Canon had a repair centre where we could drop off equipment for repair before COVD. Now Canon is accepting repairs only by courier. They need to have more options for the customer not just courier. To add insult to injury, I waited over 1hr to talk with a very unprofessional representative on chat. I’m seriously considering switching brands for my equipment.

I have been a customer of Canon for 6+ years. I have always had great service and great support. Whenever there is a problem with a machine, the service technician is readily available. Even during the pandemic, the service technicians were responsive and available and made every effort to repair my machine. Their customer service representatives are always polite and available to assist. I have been extremely happy with the service I have received from Canon.

If I could give no stars I would. I cannot get a hold of any tech or support person. When I tried the phone number, someone picked up and hung up on me three times. You can't email tech support unless you log in" with an account meaning they can send you endless selling advertisements. Since I am ready to throw my printer out the window I am disinclined to sign up to hear about more products. My Canon TR7520 purchased a year ago is complete junk. It does the default/error every other day and I am reduced to deleting everything and redoing the drivers which takes hours. If you are listening Canon - you contact me or the window it is and I will never buy another Canon product again."
