We're a fresh take on fast, making the choice easy when life is busy. The first Edo Japan is opened in Calgary, Alberta by Susumu Ikuta, a Japanese Buddhist minister who came up with the idea of serving traditional Teppan-style meals with a signature Teriyaki sauce (a recipe that remains a closely guarded secret even today). Today, we've grown to over 140 locations across Canada serving fresh choices, fresh made and fresh to go, all with Japanese inspired flavours & ingredients. Great service but some of my rice was hard like plastic and the other part was mushie and the veggies were over cooked like mashed. Same as the shrimps. I went there passing true in the hope it would be fresh. I was very wrong I highly don't recommend this location. Wast of $17.48

The owner is amazing!! He always goes to each table asking how the food is, excellent interaction with customers making each one laugh. Love love love this location! Hats off to the owner for true customer interaction!!Highly recommend.

We went here April 2, and the California rolls were AWFUL! We ordered online for pickup, and the rolls were old, rice was stale; you could tell they've been sitting awhile as there was condensation built under the rolls - AND they had fuzz on them! I thought maybe it was from my hands? Cause who knows? But as soon as I opened the second case, I seen more fuzz immediately. I nearly threw up. Absolutely disgusting.

Best service I've ever had from any fast casual restaurant ever. Food was excellent. Recommend stopping in just for the experience....at an Edo, yea seriously.
