Definitely just a typical Canadian-chinese" place. My advice is to get the chowmein as a separate entree and not in a combo form as you do get what you pay for. They sprinkled cold chicken on cold plain chowmein as you can see on my combo. I noticed the regular chowmein comes in a sizzling dish

Excellent! We had the lover’s dinner for two and was delicious. Great service and big portion, we had to take some home. Will go back next time we are here.

We have ordered 3 times from Yans 3 times the food has not been what we ordered then we complained they said we were drinking...we were not drinking the food was greasy the dried pork was not dried pork it was battered pork mostly fat and we had chow main that was so full of liquid it was like soup we complained and the owner did not want to hear it it made us mad that she accused us of drinking just cuz we complained Not Right !! We will not be back !!And very bad customer service

Passing through on a weekday purchased the special to go. Was terrible no chicken in the almond chicken nor almond nor sauce just deep fried ? Chicken Chow mein had chopped up ? Chicken substitute? 20 bucks for a bunch of noodles pretty sad

This could be the friendliest restaurant in Salmon Arm. Owner and servers were incredibly on game and fun to talk to.Great lunch, we'll be back.

Wow, Amazing food and service. yeah definitely coming here again. I Ordered a large War wonton soup @ an excellent price. Walked in Ordered, waited about 15 minutes, walked out with my order.

First-time visit last night, and we decided to go takeout for our dinner. The restaurant looks clean inside, and plenty of parking space outside. It was such a nice location to get to. The staffs at the counter were friendly and pleasant; however, apparently, they were too busy, slightly understaffed and got totally slammed and overwhelmed. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t say I’m happy for our dinner. The flavuor of our dishes is about 1/3 not good, either too plain or too salty. I understand that’s probably not the best night they have. I’m glad I came to this restaurant and tried it myself. Thanks for the effort to make our dinner. Cheers.

I hate to leave bad reviews but this is probably the worst Chinese food i’ve ever had… everything is wet and slimy and has weird taste. Just not your typical Chinese food you’d expect.Very disappointed.

First time here. Food is tasty and huge portions. Friendly staff. Tons of gluten free options as well. We are very pleased to find this gem.
