Giant Victoria

I recently purchased a bike from Giant. I was so impressed with the service I received. Being this was my first purchase of a mountain bike in many years they were able to get me into something adequate for my needs. I really appreciated their honesty and integrity. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to purchase a mountain bike especially if new to the sport.

Incredible service! I had a specific part missing on my bike and other shops said it would be six months to get. Brought it in here and they got it fixed or replaced in minutes all while being super nice and friendly.

I bought an Escape 2 Disk model from this store in June 2020. Since then I have ridden this bike for over 3000 KM across British Columbia.I did the annual service check-up last year, the service was great, and the staff was super friendly.I usually have ridden it mostly in steep hills and so I had to change the Freehub Body this year and they were super fast in checking the stock availability for the part. I'm so happy with the service at their store and the owner, Tyson, is very supportive.

I definitely had a bad experience with Giant Victoria.I had visited their store three times and had settled on purchasing their medium size bike. They said they have two in stock so I said great I’ll come down tomorrow to test ride it, but when arriving the next day they said there was an inventory issue and the bikes were not there.So I suggested maybe I should test ride a large bike and they said they had one in stock and would build it for me to test ride.They said they would call me in the morning and confirm the time to come down to test ride it, which they didn’t call me.So I drove 30 minutes to their store and was told that the large bike was sold overnight on their website. I reminded them that they knew that bike was for me and they were building it so I could test ride it, so why would they sell it to somebody else online.Very poor customer service and with over 40 bike stores in Victoria I will definitely be finding a different bike store……

I'm embarrassed to say I've never owned my own bike.You'll find me on foot, on a run, or a hike.I've moved to the island and it's my moment to shine.Living in Vic, I knew it was time.On Christmas morning an ornament hung from the tree.A piece of cardboard with a bike drawn on it....could it be?I was thrilled to find my bike at the Giant store on Yates.The fact they had stock, we knew it was fate.When we walked inside we were greeted by Frankie, a puppy, chillin'.Quickly the real help came with a man named Dylan.Long story short, the Liv Alight 2 in slate grey is all mine.You better believe that im cruising I'm looking fiiiine.Thank you for your help, I think I'm all set.But I may stop by to give Frankie some pets.

On Vacation and next trip I will order my bike in advance. They let me demo bikes and will assist in boxing it up to return to Ontario. Excellent service and product knowledge!!

Tyson + Dylan have been super helpful since day 1 (literally, I visited this store on the day it opened). Despite my stopping in only a few times a year, they're always willing to go above and beyond to help out with odds and ends, and unique requests, like when someone has double locked their bike to mine, that require them to go way beyond their job descriptions and canvas surrounding businesses. Highly recommend this place, and will definitely be back...maybe for another bike, though probably first for lights since I seem incapable of keeping reflectors on my pedals :) Thanks guys!

I have never had a better experience at a specialty sports shop in my entire life. I never felt judged with basically zero previous knowledge about the sport. I felt extremely comfortable asking my beginner" questions. I got exactly what I had come in for and didn't feel like I was was oversold. It felt like a really customized experience and you can tell the people who work there truly have a passion in this sport. I had the pleasure of having Tyson help me out and it really was a wonderful experience. Looking forward to upgrading my bike here in the near future!"

Just had my bike tuned up at Giant. Wicked good service.Very efficient. Super friendly too.Dropped my bike off just past noon on Friday thinking they would have it done sometime on Saturday and I get the call later on Friday afternoon saying it is all good to go. Replaced a tire and changed out my rear disc brakes and cleaned it all up and now it runs like new again. Thanks Giant

Purchased a Giant FastRoad SL1on Mar.10 from Dylan while visiting in Victoria. Love the bike. Great service! Dylan was extremely knowledgeable, patient with questions, zero sales pressure, helped me to select and quickly install various accessories after a test ride. Even offered to box the bike for shipping on return flight home. Highly recommend.
