They changed the layout and some features and portals on their website from what is was before, so it's a little overwhelming and tricky to navigate at first. But after you get used to it, it is a great site and tool to use to connect with potential employers and non profit businesses and access to great volunteer opportunities. Definitely worth checking out if you're unsure of where to apply to volunteer, contribute and or gain work experience and expand your network. Since using the site, I have connected with several non profits that were looking for my specific skillset, knowledge, experience and interests and am happy to report I am in the process of completing my screening and on board training and volunteer orientations at two really great places and can't wait to start. It probably wouldn't have been possible without Volunteer Central's website. So thank you!
