Ming Yan Seafood Restaurant
The food here is sooo good!!!! Nice clean restaurant and friendly staff with little robots! Not usually a big Chinese food fan - this one place changed that. Private rooms you can book as well. Don’t hesitate to come here with family and friends ❤️

Service was rushed and we were reminded of the dining time of 1.5 hours 3 times before our food even came out.They forgot our beef noodles, veg fried rice and congee. We told server we wanted to cancel congee but they brought it out anyway..Our sesame balls (dessert) came out as our second plate when we had ordered over 10 plates of food and 3 dim sums plates. (We are a party of 8 adults). Why?Overall, food was mediocre.

Ming Yan Seafood Restaurant
Went to try this restaurant for the first time and what a breathe of fresh air to have a chinese restaurant with such good service and great food, in this area. Everyone speaks English really well and they actually explain the dish to make sure you know what you're ordering. Customer service was really good always checking on your table. The food tasted very good and on the finesse side. The robot food delivery BellaBot was a cool feature as well. The prices were on the high side but for the quality and portion and the service, it was worth it.

Went for dim sum. Ordered hargow, sui mai, bbq buns, sticky rice wrap and bbq pork rice roll wrap. Each was delicious. The sticky rice was flavourful. Service was prompt and quick. It was Sunday and the place was full. Very clean bathroom as well. Highly recommend.

4.5/5. Relative to the South Surrey Area, this restaurant is probably at the top of the list for Chinese food. Unassuming entrance leads to a nicely renovated/open modern dining area, with an impressive wine wall rack. Dim sum review: staples (ha gau/siu mai dumplings, etc) were decent, fried offerings above average, and large plates good. Dried scallop egg white rice dish was noticeable. Fried squid, decent, smallish portion. Price; on the higher end. Robot Bellabot that actually works consistently. Atypical: Christmas tree still set up mixed with Chinese new year.

The food tastes good. The thee of us ordered large congee and siomai and garlic tofu, Shanghai dumpling and were full.The service was also great and the servers were attentive. They even have a robot to help in the serviceAuthentic Chinese food.

First time there. Decent food and price they have those robot waiter which was pretty cool. Missing two stars due to that they didn't check our vaccine passport at all when we walk in and their table are quite close to one another

Dim sum here pretty good. Portions are decent size and taste is good too. Tables have built-in induction elements so I'm guessing that the have hotpot in the evenings.Service is pretty good, but it was not busy at time of this review so will need to see again when busy. They have 10% off and no tea charge during weekdays to draw in more weekday lunch customers.Came here first year they opened and glad they are still here and still pretty clean with decently good food still.This is in a smaller lesser-known shopping plaza, so plenty of parking. They do also have Choices and a Starbucks here for things to do later.
