Food was very good. The waiter got a bit too close to me each time they came around.Loved the paintings.Decor is dated and makes the place seem lackluster. Needs a good clean, better ventilation and an updated look.Service was goodView was incredible. ✨The honey sesame salmon was superb.

Went for a quick one night getaway and reserved the honeymoon cabin. The cabin was slightly dated but the amazing service made up for it. From even before check in to check out we felt extremely cared for and so welcomed by the friendly staff. Patsy in particular was extremely friendly and helpful she hand delivered champagne to our door to make sure we could enjoy it for sunset and provided excellent service for us at dinner. Overall the location is absolutely stunning and quiet and the price is certainly right! Highly recommend for a romantic vacation.

We got one of the tents overlooking the ocean:First impressions of the resort:We had a hard time finding the lobby as there wasn’t clear signage nor were there people around, staff wise, at least at first, when we came. The walk to the tents was longer than expected, and challenging with luggage we had, which we were not prepared for - however, the boardwalk makes total sense of course, and it’s a beautiful 10 mins or so walk each way.Pool:unfortunately, the pool isn’t heated, and even in 25+ heat, it felt like an ice bath, so we went to a lake (Catherine lake) instead, which we wanted to do any way. It’s such a pretty area and pool, but after testing the temp, made sense no one was in it.Restaurant:It was empty every day, and due to mixed reviews, we went elsewhere for food.Spa:I had a massage and facial - massage was outside in a tent by the ocean, which was very peaceful. Facial done in same place as well. The esthetician (?) didn’t seem to have great knowledge about the skin, but the facial was nice nonetheless.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Tent:Best part! It was was amazing…Little to almost no light pollution, so the stars were amazing at night. The tent itself had nice screen doors and a locked door - however, you can unzip the netting and don’t need a lock. Security wise, it was a bit surprising, but we felt safe considering how quiet it was and how community-oriented the Coast in general felt. The fireplace turned on at night hut we couldn’t get it to adjust-first night we were cold, aw one night, better as temperatures at night got warmer. It was peaceful falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and hearing eagles and ravens in the morning! Also, saw an adorable raccoon that wanted to come into the tent, but of course was denied and it scurried off :).Other tent details:Bath and shower: very large and pretty; water supply (hot and cold) was great and also drinkable.Chairs and bed were very comfortable too.No noise from other people at night, so it felt like we were alone and at peace.Overall - totally recommend!

#1 the views!#2 the serenity!#3 accommodation optionsOverall an amazing getaway experience! honeymoon cabin was where we stayed and was literally right on the water with a nice little deck with table and chairs with 180° views of theocean, mountains, and nearby islands. Yes a bit dated and could use some sprucing up but does it affect anything while your there? Absolutely not!! A magical experience for my wife and I and we will be back to stay in one of the tents next time we stay! I would recommend the smugglers Cove hike down the highway a bit while you stay there!

We enjoyed our stay here. We had a cabin and, although they look a little sleepy on the outside, they are pretty decent inside and the bed was comfortable. The yurts look like the place to be so we plan to try those next time. We only stayed one night so did not try the restaurant or any of the other amenities other than an hour spent by the pool reading.

This was disappointing for the price we paid. Four of us stayed in one of the cabins for $400+ for one night with tax. When we arrived there were wood bugs in the bathtub, a mouse trap out and spiders in every corner. I asked the front desk to clean up the tub and spiders and at least they cleaned the tub. The location is beautiful and serene, the service was great but the cabin is very rustic and not worth the price point.

Unfortunately this place did not live up to our expectations. As other reviewers have mentioned, the amenities are in desperate need of maintenance and an upgrade. We stayed here during a windstorm, only to be woken up in the middle of the night with the trees scratching the cabins and making quite a bit of noise. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but the deadbolt in our cabin was broken. In the middle of the night, it sounded like someone was trying to get in, with no safety on the door. When we told the front desk, they said they would inform maintenance. There was no further engagement in the conversation.Additionally, the restaurant on site is quite pricey. We skipped dinners there as they had no vegetarian options except for a salad. We were told they wouldn't make any modifications to any other items as the chef didn't like to change their menu. The locations was great, but I wouldn't rush to stay here again. Would be improved with greater attention to facilities and a change in their menu.

We paid for a package for our one year anniversary, this included a three course dinner, and two breakfasts. There were things we absolutely loved at this resort, staying in a yurt over the ocean was undeniably the best and most fun experience we have had. The staff were friendly and accommodating, our couples massage was lovely. The cons- food. Our first breakfast made us decide to not come back for breakfast the next morning, it was bland, no salt or pepper, over cooked, difficult to eat. We hoped dinner would be different. My lamb dinner (just the dinner) itself was $60, it was so under seasoned it all tasked the same,Bland and inedible. For $60 a plate I found that to be the most disappointing. I couldn’t eat more than 4 bites without pushing it away from me. Very disappointed and sad that we spend over $200 on dinner for us to both not enjoy it. I recommend eating somewhere else. We spent about $400 in total of food we couldn’t eat.

Went here for a wedding. First time on the sunshine coast so didn't know what to expect but it was great. Our room was clean and we had a nice view of the water. The walkways leading to the tents were really cool. We heard that the tents got a bit buggy at times though. The wedding food was much better than expected based on previous reviews. Steak was huge!

What a beautiful resort! The restaurant is very convenient if you want to stay in this cozy and restful environment, away from city noise. The scenery is just fantastic, and they have been able to maximize their waterfront access and views. And the staff is very friendly. I will go back!
