Main Ideas Pottery & Canvas Painting Studio

Was looking for something fun to do with a friend. booked in a lesson to do the pottery wheel first time. Dia explained & guided us each step. Really enjoyed this experience & would recommend.

If you’re looking to have fun with your partner , kids , family. This is one of the most fun things I’ve done in forever. Decided to do some ceramic painting and Dia was so professional in helping and giving me pointers. Not to mention she absolutely glows as you walk in the front door. You can tell it’s her passion. I can’t wait to come back with other friends and family and show them what an amazing experience it was!

A great place to have a kids birthday party. The kids all had a blast at the glow in the dark painting party. We also stop by every so often to paint some pottery. Always a fun time!

Hold a birthday party for 8 years girl and her friends, all the kids were extremely happy and enjoyed the whole experience. the owner made it so easy for us to plan and implement our idea with what we need, and gave us a good deal. Definitely will come back again and suggest our friends to have their kids' party here.

Dropped in here on a PA day with my daughter and really enjoyed the experience. The cost of a project is built into the price sticker on the selected piece, which was very reasonable (no additional sitting fee or firing fee, and no limited window of time to work on the project ). At 5, my daughter was able to select paints and complete the project with a pretty good level of independence, and I think younger kids could enjoy themselves here too with a little oversight and help :).Fun experience and great service and certainly wonderful to have on main street!

My daughters and I wanted to experience something different. We decided to try pottery and Main Ideas Pottery. We got there the owner greeted us. She is very nice and very PATIENT. We had no idea what we were doing and she took the time to guide us. The atmosphere is cute and quaint. On our third try to make our bowls it very easy. I really enjoyed the experience so much so, I will plan a ladies pottery night. The day I was there to paint our bowls, there was a little girl's birthday party. Her and her friends really enjoyed themselves. If you want to enjoy doing something new and support a small business, I recommend this place

I love this place so much! This little painting studio is truest ages 1-99. I’m in my late twenties and I feel like I had just as much fun as the birthday party that was ending as my group and I arrived. Dia’s love for her small business and her general personality is a contagious energy within this studio. Aside from Dia herself, I think what sets this place apart from others is that you’re not confined to a certain time frame. It’s hard to make something in short time frame that you can be truely proud of sometimes. This is a rush free zone! She’s created a cool place to be creative and try new things. I painted pottery this time around but small wheel throwing classes she offers will definitely be next. I highly recommend this Main Street gem!
