Good but have just a few international grocery items.

This in a great place for all you need if you live around close to it. But if not it not that bad to gey to and to shop at if you do not mine paying little bit more....!

Re: Security BreachI urge SAFEWAY CATHEDRAL to investigate this matter and take appropriate actions.There might be a security breach at Safeway Cathedral, and my card details might've been compromised during my recent visits.I was skeptical when it happened the first time with my new card. But when it happened the second time, I am completely sure!1st occassion: I got my new card and the FIRST and ONLY transaction I did is with Safeway Cathedral. I only bought a worth $5.00 grocery (Just to activate my card)(transaction via Check out Cashier)They got $250.00+ in a total of 4 transaction (I was not aware cuz Im not receiving notifications, and its a new card). I was able to get back just part of my money and lost about $85.2nd occassion: Today, May 2nd, 10:30 PM. I got a transaction notification from my VISA. My main card/ different from the first card that got leaked (I already closed that account). This time Worth $753.82. Guess what is the last transaction I did before this unauthorized transaction? Safeway Cathedral. I just made a small purchase yesterday worth $25. I used the self checkout (the 1st or 2nd till on your right when you go out).I reported the $753.82 transaction to the bank and locked my card. I will deal with this tomorrow and call the bank once the office opens.

i have nothing bad to say about staff. They are nice .HOWEVER WHEN I GO INTO A STORE AND I SEE A 7 POUND BEEF ROAST PRICED AT 88$.I HAVE TO SAY SOMETHING. This roast was aged WOW.I felt the texture of it being from a cattle farm i know what aged beef feels and looks like there was no marble in it what's so ever .I have no idea what they mean by aged. I would agree with aged 100% however I would have to say it dropped DEAD FROM OLD AGE. This is just 1 product .i would need to write a 1000 page book for all other high prices.

I always go here for my Starbucks before work! The grocery doesn’t have any good prepared meals if your in a pinch for a quick lunch to bring to work, you kind of have to be creative, but the staff is nice and there are 2 carts with cars on the front for people who have kids this is great!

Best pharmacy ever... Some of these people are just students training to be great drs.. and some will be great and some won't be but we've had some fun. Nights together faced. He'll and fought back and won... They have saved me when I was knocking on deaths door and they came and saved me so congrats. On med school your guys are almost there keep climbing and reaching and don't ever forget some people haven't forgotten what you're capable of doing in emergencies... So keep up that hard work you guys you'll get there soon ..

Not sure who thought it was a good idea to cut the number of handicapped parking stalls (marked with signage) down to 3 for the whole parking lot but it's quite frustrating. Especially now in the middle of winter with a sloppy unclear parking lot.Parking stalls were already tight to begin with and now that you can't see the lines people forget how to park. Makes it that much more difficult to get in and out of your vehicle/in the store when you're a wheelchair user.Edit: It appears that all the handicap stalls are still marked on the pavement and only the signs were removed. This causes confusion in winter when the ground is covered. I witnessed someone who didn't need it use this parking because of that reason. She stated she was aware that they used to be handicapped parking before but they weren't anymore because the signs were removed. I suggest Safeway reinstall they're handicapped signs

Would give a zero however I can’t do that so I’m gonna give it a one. I have never had any issues with this Safeway before last night. From the minute I walked into store the security guard was following me. He did not stop following me in the store. Even after I paid for all my things he followed me outside to my truck. At no time was I asked to open my bag or even confronted about me being suspected of stealing( which I would have complied with no problem) it was the fact that this man chased me out of the building after not leaving my side for 20 minutes in the store and clearly watching me pay for everything with an actual cashier verses self check out. As a First Nations Woman having experienced this I can say that this store needs to do better, especially when it comes to racial profiling someone, not every Indigenous person steals.

Still following native people around the store. Nothing really changed since my last complaint

Nice little store. Good selection of flowers. Very friendly staff.
