Douglass Beach
Cute and small beach, very well equipped (bathroom, place to change and a snack place - it takes card!). Since the beach is small, the parking follows its capacity - $10 all day (CASH ONLY). No fee per person, just the parking. If it's full, heard you can park nearby but it's around 10 minutes walking. Beach opens 10am. We arrived at 11am and took the last parking spot. Later on, there was a line to get in. You can bring you barbecue and I saw a small dog. Volleyball area and lots of stand up fans. No equipments to rent.

Douglass Beach
Very small area and limited access to the "beach". Beautiful place to walk along the well maintained path. Overall

Douglass Beach
Beach is nice and clean lots of space. But bring a lunch the cantina is horrible, and expensive. Fries not cooked, steam hot dog buns on grilled buns also under cooked, cold.

Douglass Beach
A beautiful beach, with lots of shady spaces and picnic tables. Beach area is cordoned off and mostly quite shallow, perfect for families and younger children to swim. There are lifeguards on duty until 6:00 pm, as well as a canoe/paddleboard/water equipment rental and a small cantina with snacks. A stones throw as well away from Knowlton, which has many quaint restaurants and antique stores. Very inexpensive way to spend a lovely day in the sand and surf!

Small but good. Beach is clean, same as water. Facilities are good.

Douglass Beach
It's a beautiful place just outside Montreal city. A perfect getaway place. Though the beach is not great but it provides a perfect location to chill and relax with family and friends. The trail beside the beach is also worth exploring with the scenic beauty of Quebec.

Douglass Beach

Such a great public asset. Clean water with fine sand and not much lake vegetation. And a canteen! Vive la poutine. They also just installed some sort of new jungle gym the kiddies seemed to be going nuts about.

Douglass Beach
Very beautiful, nice and calm place for swimming and any other water sport like kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding in the season. This is also good place for walking , running , biking , scootering and in winter cross country ski and walking with snowshoes.

You can BBQ, it's busy but not Sinbad ND we went when it was like 35 degrees out. It's a mix of all ages. The beach is great with nice sand. We liked it and the neighborhood is beautiful.
