I've attended a couple weddings here and it's absolutely beautiful. I dont remember the catering team that we had but it was phenomenal. The last time I was here was last Saturday June 3rd, 2023.Such an amazing time, what really stood out to me was the Bar! The Bar catering I recall was, The Bar Guys." Linden was amazing and so quick! He's was amazing with the guests.I highly recommend The Bar Guys if you're booking at the ubc boathouse to be your bar vendors. They use an actual bar instead of those Foldable Tables. The design and how they make the environment look more luxurious then it already is."

The UBC Boathouse is a stunning venue. Not only is it a fantastic venue for any type of event and the location is its most unique selling feature. As a fully floating facility along the Fraser River in Richmond the UBC Boathouse offers a unique view of the entire Lower Mainland, from a view of the North Shore mountains, to a you of the colorful sunsets.Inside the venue showcases wooden beamed architecture that is surrounded by large glass windows that let allows natural light to fill the space.Alongside the Beautiful venue at UBC Boathouse has an unparalleled level of customer service. The staff show a deep appreciation and care for every customer and guest that walks through the door.

Beautiful location for a wedding or special event. Lovely light from floor to ceiling windows on 3 walls and a stunning arched beam ceiling. Free parking a bonus.

Went to scope out as a potential wedding venue. They have a big open room with floor to ceiling windows for the reception and space on the dock for the ceremony. It looks good so far but a bit expensive for the limited service they provide.

Ubc boat house is one of my best place for parties, i have attended many events here and in all the events this place adds up more beauty and vibe for guests.View of cityscape looks mesmerizing from this place, evening parties are always more beautiful.A walkway from parking to entrance is another beautiful spot which take away everyone’s attention.We had decorated it with crafty and balloons for our events and it always worked out great.This place is also great for evening or morning time photoshoot. Sunset from this place looks very beautiful.I will add more photos later on to show the beauty of place.Also i forget to mention staff at ubc boathouse is very helpful and well managed.

Came here for a friend's wedding and the place was gorgeous. All the staff were super friendly and helpful (I had a stroller and they carried it up the stairs for me so I didn't have to walk up and around two ramps).

One very popular place for weddings, the ability to have your ceremony done at the deck in a clear or sunny day I believe is what is attractive to a lot of couples. Great to catch sunsets and planes. Beautiful view of mountains and private enough. (photos by Farawayland Weddings)

I've had the pleasure of photographing several weddings at this breathtaking venue. The waterfront views are simply stunning, with the added bonus of sunsets, boats, and planes taking off in the background, providing endless opportunities for capturing great shots. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, making my job much easier. I can't wait for the opportunity to work there again!

John M.S. Lecky UBC Boathouse was an absolutely gorgeous venue for our September wedding. Shivani and the UBC boathouse team were great with organization and communication.

We used the boathouse for our wedding ceremony and reception. It was such a beautiful space. The staff were super helpful and we got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue is. It’s also nice to have a plan B option for if it rains. Also the sunsets are GORGEOUS!! Great venue if you are looking for a late night as you can stay till 2:00!
