Jo jacks helped us raise a side walk on the side of our house and front patio in front of our house a few years ago. It is still holding strong. Bob was great when he came did the initial estimate. Steve and the team did a great job getting the work done. Dee was very polite and friendly when we called the office. Ken the owner is running a very good and honest business. I highly recommend them for any of your concrete/sidewalk raising needs!

We initially heard about a company that would be able to correct sunken concrete patio slabs and were immediately intrigued at the possibility of levelling out our back patio to be flat, that had sunken over the years due to improper stress cut lines when initially installed. So we had JoJacks, which was a local Niagara company up to the house for their free quote offer, for it sounded like a great concept and solution to our problem. During the visit we were led to believe they were using concrete to bring our existing concrete pad level, by creating puncture holes throughout the existing surface and pumping concrete underneath, that would essentially raise the concrete beds and harden underneath. We were also told with the rising cost of concrete going up we needed to make our decision to have the work done to lock into our quote. So to us it sounded great, and we went ahead and scheduled them.After the job was complete and we replaced our patio furniture set, a sectional outdoor sofa and chairs. We couldn’t help but notice immediately the extreme reclined position you felt when sitting, to the point the two piece sectional couch wouldn’t even sit flush together being positioned on two separate concrete slabs going in different directions. Not to mention our oversized umbrella now swung sideways on a slant, suddenly our beautiful patio retreat felt like we were sitting on a hill. Initially we just put up with it, it was only when we then purchased a hot tub just two months later we noticed how extreme the slope was going in two different directions.So prior to filling the hot tub, we called JoJacks and voiced our concerns, essentially complaining about the job and how the dramatic slope of the concrete was not what we were explained and how it made it difficult to use the patio seating area. We asked them to come and have a look at our concerns, hoping to come to an agreement for them to fix the incline, for we felt it was done incorrectly and the work was to be warrantied. So they scheduled John to come up and have a look within 1 week. When he did, we were told that our feelings and thoughts were unwarranted, And that the job was sloped and done correctly. He went on to actually take a level to different sections of the concrete, but held it ever so slightly up on one end, hoping or thinking I wouldn’t notice, trying to prove it was level. It was then we were also explained that what they had put underneath the pad was a mud mixture with a little bit of concrete and eventually over time it would break down and sink/crumble once again anyways. We were then told it wasn’t a lasting solution. If we had known that from the initial quote we would not have spent the almost $2000 to raise our back patio slabs, for a temporary solution. And if we had known that they would be positioned to an extreme slope we wouldn’t have even considered this as a solution, for our goal was to have a flat patio.As a consumer paying a lot of money, we feel extremely duped that this product was not what we thought it was, and that what we thought to be a permanent solution, would not be. So the end result was, JoJacks could come and raise the concrete slabs level, but it would cost us the same if not more to do so, and it wouldn’t last anyways. Very very disappointing product and service, and we would not recommend to anyone as a solution to sinking concrete. Waste of money!

Don’t be fooled by what people tell you! Try it, you’ll love it!For years I was told not to try concrete leveling companies because it won’t last and it’s not worth the money! Jo Jacks guarantees their work for 5 years! The job I had done on my concrete driveway and front step is absolutely perfect! They changed our unlevelled concrete and made it level and back to its original state, or maybe even better than it ever was!The gentleman who performed the transformation did an amazing job! They were clean, tidy, polite, informative and very knowledgeable! They ensured that I was satisfied before they finished the job!

Drew and Travis did a fantastic job right from the moment they showed up. Was actually surprised as it was a light rain at the time. Both these gentlemen were very professional and courtesy, explained the work they would be performing and expected results, results ended up better then they explained.When they left everything was cleaner than when they arrived.Great job highly recommended

They raised deck slabs for leveling. And year after they promptly came back after our call to fix issues, under warranty. Company was responsive and onsite team were loyal and caring.

We are very pleased with the work performed on our driveway by JoJacks! Drew and Jesse were professional and personable and the driveway looks great! The office staff and estimator are also wonderful to deal with!
