I went to see Dr. Lam for an IUD insertion that was prescribed by my family Dr. When scheduling the appointment, no one warned me what IUD insertion is actually like. When Dr. Lam came in, she asked if I had taken any OTC pain medication, and I said no, no one told me to. She LAUGHED at me. Then just told me to lay down on the table and we'll get started, which of course terrified me. The procedure was the worst pain I had ever experienced at that point and I almost passed out twice on the drive home. I cannot fathom how someone, much less a medical professional, can be so cruel. How was I supposed to know to take medication if her office didn't warn me? She also didn't explain any part of the procedure and only warned me when she inserted the speculum. I have avoided seeking any further gynecological care since as the experience was so awful and I'm genuinely afraid of being referred back to her.

i had Dr Lam as an OB with my first child. She was amazing, always treated me with respect and never dismissed my concerns. I honestly had no complaints. I was very lucky and she was the OB on call when I was delivering my son. Would definitely go back to her

Dr. Janice Lam (So-called Gynaecologist) - is a BIG NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!All the women out there pls.. have a look at the reviews before visiting any doctors especially Gynaecologists ( I wish I could have done that too).I had an extremely disappointing experience with so-called Dr. Lam as she is the gynecologist I waited for five long months to see. From the moment I stepped into her office, it was evident that she possessed an alarming level of arrogance. Her rude comments and condescending demeanor left me feeling deeply uncomfortable and disrespected.Not only did she fail to provide any meaningful time to discuss my concerns, but she also pretended to be in a rush throughout the entire conversation. This blatant display of narcissism and lack of empathy was beyond frustrating especially while conducting my PAP smear test. I would strongly advise anyone seeking compassionate and competent care to steer clear of Dr. Arrogant's practice. She does not deserve to be a Doctor.She has no concerns for her patients and remains offended all the time as if she is doing any favor to check the patients or to answer to their queries. She will never excel in her career that's for sure. God watches everyone lady!!!! The health care system in Canada is really worse. There was a time when people considered doctors as God but not anymore just because of such idiotic and ruthless so-called doctors who are just minting money without being concerned for the patients. They are just money-fetchers. Pathetic experience!!!!!!!!!! I have nothing good to say about her really!!!! I wish like abusing her to the core for the way she behaves. F******* off lady!!

Doctor Oliver is an absolute angel and has changed my life. She always made me feel safe and cared for and explained both my laparoscopy and hysterectomy before each procedure. I highly recommend her, you truly couldn't be in better hands, she has the most beautiful heart. Also her receptionist is extremely helpful, warm and welcoming and a wonderful to help with anything you need.

Very pleased with Dr.Lam.Though it is a busy office,Dr.Lam was very thorough. She is so very knowledgeable and caring. The office support is top notch too. Many thanks for the excellent care.

I was referred to this clinic and was told I would receive my appointment information within a certain timeframe. Unfortunately, I have yet to hear back from the receptionist - Their phone lines aren’t in service either so it’s been difficult to get in touch that way too. Will update this review if anything changes.

I was a client of Dr. Lam for both pregnancy and through birth control insertion which was done at my follow up apt following child birth.Throughout the entire pregnancy process, she was very informative and made sure I knew what was going on and what was expected of me. She sent me for additional tests as needed etc. Dr. Lam is definitely very to the point, which understandably could turn people away. I preferred it however, as it gave me the information I needed while not wasting either of our time with unnecessary banter.When it came to the birth control, we discussed my options at my last apt before I had my daughter. This gave me time to research and request they order what I preferred. I didn’t take the pain medicine as they requested day off, and although it was uncomfortable, it wasn’t unbearable. She did the same process any doctor would do, so any pain was a lack of effort on my part.The booking staff and other techs there were also friendly. Not ‘motherly’ but informative.

This is long overdue - Dr. Oliver was my OB for my June 2021 birth. You can tell she is a very busy woman, so our appointments are usually efficient and straight to the point, which doesn't bother me because I usually prefer this style of communication (others may view it as not personable which I've noticed in other reviews). The only downside was I felt I had to come prepared with a list of questions, otherwise there wouldn't be much discussion because we didn't chitchat. She delivered my baby at the Grand River hospital and she was phenomenal. Very professional and I had comfort knowing I was in good hands. She knows what she's doing!

I had an absolutely incredible experience with Dr Oliver.I was scheduled for a life-changing Hysterectomy. Unfortunately this surgery was canceled twice, very last minute, at no fault of Dr Oliver or her team. I fell incredibly ill twice. Dr Oliver was very understanding and got me in as soon as I was recovered.Everything from scheduling appointments, to the actual surgery, was excellent. I highly recommend Dr Oliver.
