I don’t love leaving bad reviews, but I was left really unimpressed. When the lady was buffing my fingers it hurt so bad, especially around my cuticles. Then when it came time for polish, polish was getting on and around my cuticles, and there are major streaks in my polish on all fingers. I only got a colour no design, and some parts of the polish are lighter than others. Just upsetting when you are paying for a service. The weirdest part is too the streaks in my polish are getting worse as the hours go by, so I’m left wondering what went wrong

Update February 2022:I have been coming here for about 3 years now and refuse to go anywhere else. I started coming here when I moved to Beamsville and still come here after moving to St. Catharines. Jen and Phuong are the best of the best and always make sure I leave with my nails looking perfect. Their artistry and attention to detail is top notch. They are always so welcoming when I walk in to the salon and we always have so much fun chatting during our appointments. I love coming here. I find their prices very reasonable for the quality of the service and the cleanliness and sanitization standards they hold.Amazing experience every time I've been. My nail technician Hannah has such great attention to detail and really makes sure my nails come out looking perfect every time. She's so sweet and always happy to see me. I always look forward to going for my fills every few weeks. Hannah has helped me pick out my colour a few times and always has good suggestions on accents to add. Absolutely love her!

I have phoned numerous times to book an appointment and there’s never any availability for days. Try hiring more staff to keep your customers happy. Today is Tuesday I tried booking an appointment for a fill and there’s nothing available until Friday. Hiring more Staff would help this business

Update: I did reach out via instagram and went back the next day to have them fix my hands and toes. They are WAY better. Only thing to complain about is the girl who messed them up yesterday tried to paint them again. I had to ask for someone else as there was zero sense repeating bad work with bad work. This girl was much better and checked in many times to see what I thoughtThis was my 4th time here maybe my last. First 3 times were great. This time wow honestly the worse polish change and pedicure I have ever had. Not only do have have polish on my toes and around my fingers. She cut one nail too short. It hurts. She was in such a rush she messed many times and attempted to fix the polish mistakes. My thumb still looks bad. I would have rather come a different day when I there was proper time to do things right.I liked this place as it was fast and a good price. Now I’m not sure. Fast shouldn’t mean bad. Cheap shouldn’t look cheap. Also I should never have my finger in pain from being cut too short. Brutal

Ive been here twice now and the service both times has been pretty disappointing and less than mediocre. Neither of the times that i’ve been here have they been able to give me what I want. I’ve been going to Nails Pro in burlington from July to February and always get acrylics, i always choose my style and shape on the day of, and they’re always so friendly and enthusiastic about whichever design i pick and i always leave feeling very happy.I understand that every salon operates a little different, but i’ve never had a nail tech flat out tell me “no we can’t paint your nails that way or no i can’t file your nails that way”, except for at this salon. I was told that coffin shape would make my nails break, eventho that’s usually my go to shape, and ironically the only time i’ve had my acrylics break in 7 months, was a week and a half after the first time that i came here (eventho she gave me square shaped when i asked for coffin). this tells me that it’s not the shape that made them break, but probably the quality of their acrylics and glue.apparently the coloured tips i wanted was a no go as well because it would take 20 mins longer and she needed to go on lunch.. I respect their time, i wouldn’t want anyone to miss their lunch but being told that you can’t have a service that im paying for done the way id like, doesn’t feel worth my money or time. In my experience most salons usually switch around their staff to help out in situations like that but here they only had 3 people working in such a large salon and no one else knew how to paint acrylics apparently.I’m not used to having to describe the exact shape, nail polish design (especially just coloured tips) over the phone when booking an appointment and frankly i don’t think it’s very reasonable to expect your clients to know that these specific details could impact their appointment so much. If these specific designs, styles and nail lengths are too time consuming, i recommend getting your receptionist to ask more specific questions when booking appointments because this isn’t the norm at most other salons, and since reading through these reviews, it seems to be a reoccurring issue here. hiring more staff would definitely help your business serve clients more efficiently aswell.and lastly, apologizing when saying we can’t do a service should be natural when working in customer service. clients shouldn’t be made to feel like an inconvenience, especially when your prices are as high as they are. Reality is that nail salons are literally everywhere. And many of them (nails pro, included) are more professional, flexible, not as expensive, and actually make their clients feel valued, relaxed and welcomed. Hopefully, this review offers you a perspective on where ur clients may feel you’re coming up short in comparison to other businesses and gets you thinking about how improvements can be made.

Amazing salon in Grimsby! I drive from Burlington just to come to this spot. The salon is very clean & cute. The staff are amazing, always courteous and helpful. Jenifer has been my tech & always produces pure ART on my nails! The talent is amazing! Highly recommended.

Absolutely terrible experience. Terrible communication...not tidy, didn't get what u asked for. Wouldn't accommodate a friend allergic to polish who brought their own. Rude and dismissive. I go to nail shops every 2 weeks now for 15 years. This is the first time I've been somewhere so ridiculous. 0 stars if I could...

I’m honestly so disappointed in this place. I booked an appointment for my daughter to have acrylic nails done and described in great detail what she wanted done when booking the appointment. However, when we arrived on the day I went over it again to confirm the price and was told they didn’t have time to do the colour tips she wanted, even though this was what was specifically requested when the appt was booked. There was no trying to accommodate us, just shrugged off as a miscommunication and “I don’t have time to do colour tips because they take about 20 minutes to draw on”. This was something special we were doing together before Christmas and to be turned away without trying to make something work is just ridiculous. The whole situation was really embarrassing. The last time my daughter had her nails done here it ended up costing her around $90 even though we were quoted $60. I was willing to try again but not anymore.** Update - and of course, as expected, they respond with an apology that’s not an apology at all. If you look at all of their responses to negative reviews they say “I’m sorry … BUT…” and then proceed to tell you how it was actually your fault. We were absolutely turned away. What my daughter wanted was described on the phone in detail and when we showed up you couldn’t accommodate and told us the only option was for her to get full colour, which is not what she wanted so we had no choice but to leave as we were given no other options. I even asked if we could do the basic acrylic nails and come back later in the week for the colour tips and was told no. Luckily I was able to call another salon and describe the exact same thing and they booked us in the same day and did exactly what she wanted with no confusion or arguing about it. My advice - got to PRETTY NAIL BAR in Stoney creek for a much friendlier and accommodating experience.

Edit, I was here a week ago for a shellac manicure & it looks awful. Appt. was for 4pm, had to wait till 5pm. I only came back because my last visit was good, which was last year, prior owner was great and I needed my nails done for an event. The nail tech I had, had no idea what I was asking for. I'm a pretty simple person and don't ask for much, but she didn't even know how to shape nails or put polish on them. I left with my nails all sharp and ridgit and polish all over the skin of my fingers. Absolutely awful for what I paid. Didn't bother talking to the owner. It's a shame because I live so close and they used to be great......Original post from 2021:This has to be the best nail salon I have ever been too! I moved to the area a few months ago, and was looking for a new place to get my nails done and they've exceeded my expectations! The salon is very clean, staff is super friendly and my nails have never looked so good. The shellac manicures last me at least a month + My nails never chip and the polish stays on really well. A+ highly recommend!
