OK Tire

Needed Rims for my Toyota Tacoma and although another BIG retailer apparently had them as fitting my truck they ended not fitting correctly. The retailer recommended I take them to OK Tire in Sault Ste. Marie as they'll know how to recommend mounting them. In the end the rims didn't work out but OK Tire had rims in stock and I bought them on the spot! Sometimes it's best to just try out a business locally rather than ordering online! Lesson learned and time saved! Thanks and my rims look amazing also!

OK Tire has been servicing the vehicles for my family and I for years! Owners are top notch and their staff accommodate to make things happen quickly. Best service in town by far! I am super happy with my winter tires as well :)Highly recommend

I always buy my tires at O.K Tire. The Staff are awsume, Mike, John are the owners, along with the whole staff. In fact I bought both my kids, and my mother inlaw tires. For myself winter and allseasons. Thanks for the awsumeness. Now I'm going to bring it in for brakes.

Super nice guys in the back, they were happy to offer to physically check what the front desk agent seemed unsure when I was picking up a spare tire for my trailer. Wonderful experience!

Was working on the road and found some tire wear issues. On a Friday they got me back on the road very quickly so I could get home for the weekend. Great staff and fantastic prices.Over 200.00 cheaper for my 4 tires installed and balanced than other quote I had received.Plus it's a premium tire.Strongly suggest you check them out before you buy tires.They also do other mechanical work, not just tires.

People at Sault Ste Marie are so nice. The wheel hub of the tire of our Benz SUV was damaged at the night of Aug 30 at Sault Ste Marie. This was the first day of our road trip from Toronto heading to US. Eugine and two other unknown local people stopped and gave us great help and had the spare tire changed that night. And Eugine recommended OK tire and made appointment with Mike of the Ok tire the next morning. The next morning Mike checked the tire and found there was no such wheel hub available in their store. Their staff checked the other tires for us and Mike wrote a note with the contact info of Benz dealer store in Traverse City where is on the way we are going to. Finally they did not charge us. And Eugine came to see us at the store too. We really impressed by the help provided by Eugine and other local people at Sault Ste Marie. Thanks Sault Ste Marie!

Went to OkTire for several years now. All service was fine until my last visit. This happened several months ago, I was hesitant to write this review but decided I wanted to warn people before they go here. I brought in my car after an altercation and my exhaust got bent onto my axel and I needed new break pads and rotors. They continuously said I needed to replace my whole exhaust, which I asked if they could bend it back in place as it was not damaged. When they finally realized that there was no replacement exhaust that they could order (which would’ve been 4500$) finally they listened to my suggestion and bent it back in perfect shape. My other mechanic from a different business was the one who suggested this. I would’ve brought my car to my other mechanic to fix the exhaust if OkTire didn’t tell me that my car was not fit to drive with the exhaust on my axel. Once exhaust was fixed and axel replaced, my break pads and rotors needed to be changed. They stated that I needed new catalytic converters as mine seized. I was shocked as my car was only a 2017. I was hesitant so I brought it to another mechanic (the one who suggested the exhaust to be bent back in place) and he stated that the mechanics at OkTire were clearly not educated on breaks as they did not know that they have to disable the electric parking break on rear breaks to change break pads. Since they did not disable the parking break, they assumed it had seized. If I didn’t take it to get a second opinion, I would’ve had to spend another 1500$ which was not needed. The catalytic converters were perfectly fine. Lesson learned, always get a second opinion!! And go to someone you trust!
