I've been here a few times with my family and it's always great! Simple menu, tasty food. I always go for the pork inasal with the garlic rice but anything is a good choice. The latest time, I also tried their ube cheesecake. Yum!

Recently bought their Lumpiang Gulay, Pancit Miki, and Halo-Halo for lunch! They use cabbage instead of toge (mung bean sprouts) for their lumpiang gulay but it's still good! Plus the house vinegar to go with it makes it even better! The Pancit Miki is decent for its price and the highlight of their halo-halo is the ice cream. Will definitely order again and will try other viands as well.

Drove by and saw their lunch special. Can't resist to go in and try. I am glad I did. Ordered chicken inasal and it did not disappoint. Comes with rice and salad and the grilled chicken. Not a huge amount of food but just right amount for the money. I would say it's a solid 5 stars since it's only $7.50 for this lunch special. Credit cards friendly and street parking wasn't too bad. Highly recommended and definitely would go back again if I m in the area.

SERVICE: 5/5We went here in a party of 11 and our waitress handled us gracefully. We also did not wait too long for our food even though we ordered a lot. They were also nice to do us a favor hiding a birthday cake in their fridge!FOOD: 4.5Their SISIG is the best for me. It's very different from other Filipino restaurants. It has a very unique crunch to it that doesnt go away even after the egg being mixed in. I would give a 5/5 if the rice didn't taste weird for me.AMBIENCE: 3/5Hapag is a small restaurant that gives you at-home vibes. From the 2hr+ that we stayed there, I never saw an empty table which I believe attests to how good is the food there. My only criticism is that the tables and floor need scrubbing. I got grease on my pants when my leg accidentally touch the under of the table.

Delicious food and atmosphere! Pretty small space, so definitely make a reservation if possible to ensure you get seated. Some of the best Filipino food I’ve had in a while. Save room for dessert if you can. I’m definitely coming back here.

We did a take out here, they have generous portions of the garlic rice and vegetable spring rolls (lumpiang gulay) for the price. The bbq skewers are smaller than you would typically find at other Filipino restaurants but it’s reflected on the price $8 for 4 skewers. Other places would charge about $4 but definitely a larger meat skewer. Wouldn’t mind trying their ube cheesecake next time, looks yummy.

They now have Beef Pares! The taste is not the classic / typical beef pares we were used to back home, but it tastes really good in its own right. The meat is very tender and you can tell it has been marinated well as it burst with flavor. It probably will be my new favorite just like their chicken inasal.

This is my first time going out for Filipino food. Didn’t feel it was anything spectacular or maybe didn’t order the right dish. My friend and I got the two different chicken combos with add on of soup and pork skewers for appetizer. Felt the soup was quite salty. I added rice to ‘water’ it down. Loved the pork skewers the best. Would go back to try the other main dishes. Overall the food was tasty and very affordable.

Oh my!! Should have come here earlier. My Filipino visitors from Seattle insisted I bring them here as their friends in Seattle highly recommended this rather nondescript eatery - and it was such a great recommendation. I really don’t know much about Filipino food but my Filipino host does and ordered the Sisig which they proclaimed as being excellent - both in taste as well as the required texture and crunchiness. Of course also ordered the large crispy Pata which was ever so good - freshly made, super crunchy skin and just the right flavoured meat. Have had too many hard, chewy not-really-crispy pata skin on pork that’s like salty jerky that I really enjoyed this perfectly cooked pride of Filipino food! The Lumpiang was nothing special but the skewers were smoky goodness and I wish we had saved some room for dessert - which looked so tempting but we just couldn’t manage it. Too bad as I’m sure they’re gonna be as good as the meal we had. Recommend Hapag if you want a good intro to Filipino food! You won’t go wrong here. And oh, didn’t take more pictures as we resorted to eating with our fingers - as befit eating Filipino food - and couldn’t much use my phone!
