These amazing people gave me my vision back. I have not felt more welcome and taken care of then I have with this medical team. Dr. Yelle does fantastic work and I am very grateful I chose Precision Cornea. I don't think I could have had a better experience.Thank you all so much. Every member of the staff that I interacted with were very helpful and friendly and eased me through the traumatic experience of being told your eyes were warped and you'd potentially never see again.

Wow! This place is wonderful! I went in with a badly scratched cornea that was very painful. It was affecting my vision and I could barely even open the eye. From the moment I walked into the office, I was treated warmly and cheerfully, with the utmost professionalism and caring, which was greatly appreciated when I was in pain and worried about my eyesight. And Dr Lewis took excellent care of me, with huge improvements in a very short time. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

My partner recently had an appointment here and we were completely impressed with the care he received. The ladies managing the front desk administration were excellent as were the eye technicians performing the eye screening tests. We were very happy with Dr. Yelle and her beside manner was excellent. The facility was also very clean.

I am a very lucky person to be one of Dr. Sabeti’s patients.I had my first cataract surgery (left eye) with another surgeon in 2018. Until today, I continue to have issues with this eye. After much deliberation and over ten appointments with the first surgeon who became increasingly aggressive and rude because he could not figure out his own mistake, I decided to go to Precision Cornea.When I met Dr Sabeti, I remembered her immediately, from when she was a student – nearly 15 years ago, I fell and had to have my right eye examined. Back then, because of how she examined my eye thoroughly and with such care, I told her then that I knew she would one day make an exceptional surgeon.I was right.From the moment I met Dr. Sabeti at Precision Cornea, she was very communicative, understanding, patient, kind, and explanatory. In detail, she discussed every step and answered every question, and addressed every worry.Shortly before, and on the day of the right-eye’s cataract surgery, Dr. Sabeti asked me three times if I was wedded to having the same vision after surgery as I had before. I said yes. During the surgery and while inserting the lens, she asked me to look up, down, right and left. All things which were not done by the first surgeon responsible for my left eye – not even close. During the surgery on my left eye, no one so much as measured my blood pressure, asked me which eye I was going to have done, or if I was committed to the lens discussed once prior with neither explanation nor follow-up by that surgeon. In fact, on the day of my left-eye cataract surgery, the doctor showed up and began working on my eye without so much as a hello.The difference between him and the way Dr. Sabeti both handles, and then works on her patients is absolutely astonishing.I went to see Dr. Sabeti the day after she performed my cataract surgery, and all was perfect. I saw her again after one month; she examined my eye and told me that she achieved what she had aimed for, and indicated that we no longer needed to see one another.I am so happy with my eye, and have not needed to see her since. I don’t have any issue with it. I even do all of my computer work without my glasses. She gave me such a good and strong lens, and I am so grateful for her.She is an exceptional surgeon, an excellent communicator, and she has the best bedside manner. She is kind, caring, and committed to her patients. You should not trust anyone else with your vision; my daughter certainly won’t when it is her time for cataract surgery.Thank you Dr. Sabeti, I wish I had known you before I had my left eye done. Referred to this location from Herzigs Eye Institute from upstairs in the building. Came in person and booked an appointment with the Receptionist and received a print out. Came 2 months later to that appointment only to find out they never booked the appointment and don’t have any records. I explained what I knew and how to locate my file and was told to come back a week later. I came back a week later sitting in the room I’m now told they don’t have anything on my file again. I told them it’s upstairs that referred me and I now wait. They finally get my file, and now I’d be referred to another specialist. This was a month ago and I still have no appointment. I don’t believe I will get an appointment. The only positive of this interaction was waiving the $100 fitting fee due to all the negligence my file received. I’ve never experienced something like this in any health setting. This was not a professional interaction and while my interaction seems out of the ordinary, it’s worth noting for future patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Baig's for over 10 years. It took his office a week to return my drugstore's and my urgent phone calls regarding the shortage of me cortisone drops. I had a cornea replacement 9 years ago. I could have lost me eye sight. Very hard to find someone that speaks French in that office. Poor service!

Dr Yelle Is a kind, courteous, professional woman, she won't stop until you get the results that you need. Excellent beside manner!I have severe dry eyes, which have been getting progressively worse, blurry vision and pain. We tried different treatments and Dr Yelle was so knowledgable, explained every treatment with excellent follow-up. My eyes however weren't getting better. So we tried PRP, which had only been available in Montreal and Toronto, Precision Cornea is the first place in Ottawa to offer it! This has been a miracle. After one day, I could read my watch with clear vision! So impressed by Dr. Yelle and her team!

Always a great and very professional experience at the place. Dr. Yelle and her assistants are a pleasure to deal with. The contact lenses fit was perfect and relatively fast.

The facility is nice and the staff, just like what you find anywhere else, they can be pleasant and they can also be rude. But my review is about one of their doctors, specifically Dr Lewis. Brought my mom to get a procedure done as she was referred here by her optometrist. When we first met him he seemed nice and we thought she was in good hands, until it came time for the actual procedure it's when he became what I would say, boorish. For one, we were never told about how the procedure would be done, pretty much a live operation, where you have to keep your eye open as the doctors cuts out whatever he needs to cut out of your eye. Wait, did I also say that she was not supposed to move her eyeball as well, at all!? Try that for about 15minutes, it's hard. Anyways, specially for an older person it's harder. While she's laying there, eye open, him holding what looked like a scalpel and telling her not to move her eye, she moved her eye not intentionally and he would make these sounds with his mouth, sounds of being annoyed. You could clearly see the he was upset and not hiding it at all, making my mom even more nervous then she was already. After he was done, he let her off as if all he had done was given her a facial. Very dismissive.I can only imagine how different it would have gone if I hadn't been in the room.We had to come back for a couple of follow ups and the second follow up he removed a lense he had placed in her eye for protection and the next follow up he tried taking out the lense again, even though he had already taken it out.All I have to say is that he gave my mom a horrible experience that now she refuses to get anything else done to her eyes even if it is necessary.He needs to work on his anger management and bedside manners. He can't be treating people in that manner.I would recommend the clinic but not the doctor.

My doctor has just moved to the Precision Cornea Centre. It’s a nice facility, staff are peasant, but they have a system that is not customer friendly. They insist on the customer traveling to them on 2 separate dates to accommodate an appointment that should be done on the same day. One day testing is scheduled and the second day is to see the doctor. I have been going for these appointments for several decades now and never has the system inconvenienced me to this extent. I hope that they will find a way to put their patients first.
