What a great place!!! The owner is so personable, love the vibes. The food is excellent delicious and beautifully presented ❤️ they have a great selection.of coffee to take home. Wonderful atmosphere, if you want to work, and meet people, great place for Meetings. Support small businesses!! A must try!!!! Better then Starbucks.

The food here at this Cafe is excellent! Ambience is pretty great too! The service is a bit slow & the servers may tend to seem overwhelmed when catering to a large group.Everything we ordered was fantastic and extremely flavorful. The sandwiches are tiny portions but great tasting.Street paid parking is available which can be painful sometimes.Definitely recommend getting their French Toast!

Delicious fresh goods and warm drinks for the morning, sweet matcha was prepared excellently. New owner, kept the classic items on the menu that made Synonym what it is while introducing new and fresh concepts and dishes that looks to be inspired by Mediterranean and Levant dishes. Looking forward to return and try out the expanded new things. Ate everything before I could take proper pictures so will share next time.

Wow - delicious breakfast! We had the labneh and pesto, walnut, lemon meze and both were phenomenal and filling with the pita. Also tried the walnut and chocolate bubka and both had great taste. Love the middle east flavors! Super cute place in general.

We spent Mother’s Day brunch at this place, and it turned out to be a perfect experience. The food is delicious, coffee is high quality (better be called speciality!) ,staff are super friendly and finally we loved the positive vibe of this cafe restaurant.

Never disappointed here. The coffee tastes great. The food menu is small but everything I've tried is consistently delicious. Here you see the breakfast sandwich and the shakshuka. They also have a small fridge with takeaway bowls and wine. There are two small rooms of seating indoors and a few tables of outdoor seating in front of the shop, weather-permitting. The staff are friendly. The vibe is nice. Artsy walls, music-playing in the background, not too loud.

Synonym Coffee has quickly become my go-to spot in the city. Located just a stone's throw away from the West Harbour GO station, it's incredibly convenient for both locals and those commuting from Toronto. The owner's warm and personable nature adds an extra touch to the already inviting atmosphere. I love the vibes here!Whether I'm looking to work in a cozy setting or meet new people, Synonym Coffee never disappoints. It's a fantastic place for meetings and networking. The quality of their coffee surpasses that of the mainstream chains like Starbucks. Trust me, it's a must-try!My friend and I stumbled upon this adorable local coffee shop after enjoying breakfast nearby, and it was a fortunate discovery. Synonym Coffee is a hidden gem that's worth visiting.The only minor drawback is the availability of street paid parking, which can sometimes be a hassle.Overall, I can't recommend Synonym Coffee enough. It's a delightful spot with great coffee, friendly staff, and a wonderful atmosphere.

I love this spot, it’s at the very end of downtown, so a little bit quieter of an atmosphere. The staff are super friendly, make killer coffee and made the experience a joy. I will absolutely be back!

Easily my favourite place in the city! Such an amazing rotating menu and wine list - not to mention the beautiful space, specialty coffee, fun bar selections, and book shop. Plus, they're so close to the West Harbour GO station that it makes for the perfect landing/starting spot for anyone coming from/going to Toronto
