Absolutely horrible experience with this store after confirming the product was at the store via online and a phone call saying they had 4 of the product in stock. I proceeded to drive the 45min drive to the store after waiting over 1hr10min not kidding either they did not find the product. So I seen they had the same product but it included a battery. I said why don’t you keep the battery and sell me the tool only being this was their mistake. They wouldn’t even entertain the idea m. All this to waste hours of a person time and fuel. They did not even try to make a resolution!!! I was told from they vice manager that he does not throw to fix the issue. He said that the real manager would be in today, guess what he is not and they will not tell you when he is back on duty. Would not recommend supporting this store, have had many positive experiences at other lowes but this one not so much. Also would like add the product still shows online 4 available over 18hour later so clearly they don’t care if they waste your time. Some serious changes need to happen at this store especially after reading other reviews that this is not the first time this has happened.

Kept phoning lumber desk and calls kept dropping. Guy said give me your number I’ll call you back. Still waiting for call five minutes now. Not impressed with phone system at lowes. Employees should be given better tools to do their job!!!

Staff are absolutely useless. First one I asked where I’d find brad nails, weren’t where he said. Saw him again on my adventure to find a staff member and he said they must here over there instead. Go there and it’s plumbing. Asked a different employee and they sent me to the isle of lumber. Asked a third employee and they didn’t know so they said they were gonna ask for a manager or supervisor. 15 minutes of waiting for this “manager or supervisor” and nothing. Custom service, common sense and management is obviously non existent here

I enjoy shopping at Lowe’s to find materials for projects on the go.However, I find that it’s easier for me to find what I need by myself. I went there looking for fire rated mortar/cement mix I found on Lowe’s website. The first staff member told me to go down to the last isle and ask for an employee by name. That he’s know where to find what I need. I followed instructions, found the employee named, asked for the same item for him to brush me off saying “we don’t sell what you’re looking for” and went back to work.I opened my phone to the website showed it to him. He apologized and pointed me in the direction I should go.Today an employee brought me to the place I needed, found the item I needed! I was very grateful but then he tried talking me into different items that were similar but wouldn’t work. I thanked him for finding me the first item but he kept picking up other things saying they’d work too. I understand he’s going the distance but he’d already done it with the first item.Yes, there’s lots of different people/employees out there. It was just a bit frustrating with back to back experiences.I’ll keep shopping at Lowe’s, they have good products and lots of stock.

I was in yesterday and had probably the absolute best service I’ve ever had in Red Deer. I was in to purchase a large patio set and SEAN was so helpful. He noticed me right away and was quick to find my items. Helped me through the check out and loading. Great job young man. I am headed back today hope your there to help.

Terrible customer service. They can’t answer the phones, they can’t place order correctly, apparently they are having problems delivering lumber then blame other people. Always an excuse with this place. They took two days just to give me a quote and I had to show up in person for this to happen, then they gave more random excuses. Not going to waste my time dealing with them again. Would not recommend doing business here.

Unfortunately, changing my previous 4 star review. Yesterday, I noticed an item that I needed was on clearance & the stock for this location had 5 of them currently in stock. Immediately packed up my children & made the 30 minute drive into Lowes Red Deer. When we approached the location where the product likely would of been, we couldn’t find it. I approached an employee & asked for assistance locating the item. He searched the item number & said he couldn’t see the items location & because it was a clearance item, it likely wasn’t even in stock to begin with. My children & I walked all over the store (inside & out in the garden area) trying to find the item ourselves with no additional offer for help & no luck. Beyond frustrating!

I can't speak to the other departments but customer service in the flooring department is absolutely horrible. I went here two weeks back to get transition strips for my floor and even after I asked for help, no one came. The store was paging an associate to flooring for over 15 minutes and no one ever came so I left, annoyed. We still needed the transition piece so my husband went again today. Same experience. He told me that he was waiting over 30 minutes for someone to come, even though they had been paged. This is ridiculous. It is a Saturday for goodness sake. Can all the flooring associates who work here please actually do their job? You're losing business. We won't be shopping here in the future.

Staff are friendly, if you can find them. standard selection that you would expect with very high prices. Lumber is complete trash, 8 foot 2x4's were all checked, cupped, smashed, split. You couldn't even build a pallet out of them they were so bad.

I took my original review down after they confirmed our appliances were being delivered and then they didn’t show up. We went 4 days with zero appliances and no one would try to help us out. We are a family of 6 and did not get rid of our old appliances until they called to confirm the date and time of delivery and let us know we had to have the old ones out of the way. The delivery company called 10 minutes before the estimated delivery time to let us know they weren’t coming for 5 days as they are having issues with the truck. Fast forward to me leaving a bad review, then magically the store contacted me and made things better. They were going to reimburse us some money as we were having to eat out for most of our meals. My appliances finally came and we just needed them to call back as promised to let us know what’s next. I have now called 3 times and very sarcastically told they know my issues and someone will be calling. Big surprise, no one has called. Thankfully we still have an entire basement to renovate and know where NOT to spend our money. I highly recommend spending your money elsewhere (Home Depot) as the customer service is terrible if you have any sort of issue with your purchases. Just treating us with some compassion and respect likely would have been enough from the start, but other than the appliance salesman we did not receive that.
