Obviously they've been bought by new owners. The kitchen staff is now 80% or more diversity hires. Came in for breakfast on fathers day. 4 tables were occupied 2 servers, and still we stood for 18 minutes before being seated. 4 tables.. like not even remotely busy. The manager made eye contact with us several times but never stepped in to help. Much of the food has been changed for probably unapproved ingredients the hollandaise sauce was super different. We all noticed the food to be much different than previously. Apparently you only have the choice of strawberry jam at this location now? And one per customer only. What happened to peanut butter and raspberry jam? We were not checked on and not offered any discount or apology or otherwise for our experience here today. I love smittys but I won't be coming back to this one again.

Service was horrible, took forever to get a seat, and only came to give coffee. She never asked the rest of us if we wanted drinks, then ignored us for half hr. we ended up leaving

I placed an order of Feastify and it was over an hour so I called the restaurant directly to see if something was off, and the woman who answered the phone was extremely aggressive and got upset about the Feastify app and I explained again that I am the customer calling not Feastify and she just kept talking over me so I explained it again and she was just like ohh" no apology or anything. Very professional."

Had lunch at Smitty's yesterday, and I was extremely disappointed. The burger patties have been changed, and now, instead of being a burger that looks and tastes like a beef burger, they are grey and rubbery and completely artificial tasting. The only redeeming feature is that it's charbroiled. The fries have also changed. I used to love the crispy shoestring fries, and now they're the kind of generic, tasteless fries one can get anywhere. I've lived in Wetaskiwin for 22 years, and have been eating at Smitty's for all of that time. Sadly, I'm not sure I'll be back. The service is always good. Too bad the food isn't any longer.

Food was to be expected from the franchise. When we got our meal, was asked if there was anything else and wanted. Replied we would like hot sauce for the eggs. The server came back with maybe a tablespoon in a tiny disposable cup of hot sauce,which was more than enough. But got a surprise when we got our receipt charged .50 cent for a condiment , seriously?! The service was great too. Both men and women bathroom were clean.

Food was good. Atmosphere was nice, but nothing to write home about.Service was very good once we were noticed, but we were seated and brought coffee by the lady at the front counter, then pretty much ignored for the next 30 minutes or so.

Super friendly waitressing and some delicious food at a reasonable price. I'd stop by again for sure!
