I am a big fan of Sherlock Holmes and visiting this museum was my dream. I am very pleased. The lovely lady at the museum gave us a mini tour. I also recommend visiting their gift shop.

It was fun experience, and very nice and friendly staff.I thought entry tickets were over priced. It has a little gift shop next to it, also it was over priced, nevertheless we got a souvenir.Stairs had that squeaky sound, it was a little uncomfortable for me. If your hyper sensitive to sounds just take measures.I liked the fact that filming and taking pictures was okay.

The museum is small and there is waiting line even if you bought the tickets in advance. The house and rooms are full of information about the fictional character of Sherlock Holmes. I enjoyed the step back in the books and have a glimpse of how things looked

I only visited the shop because i did not have time to go into the museum. However, the shop is amazing. It may not look like much from the front but when you walk in it goes back far. At the back of the shop is a massive skylight and the room is stunning. The staff are in costumes. The items in the shop are lovely souvenirs especially if you are a big fan. I purchased a street sign and it is really nice. They may not have a lot but it is worth it. I highly recommend visiting even if it is only for the shop for a few minutes. Nearby is a lovely park aswell.

The Sherlock Holmes Museum is a must-visit destination for fans of Sir Arthur legendary detective. It is located at 221B Baker Street in London, the museum offers a unique opportunity to step back in time and immerse yourself in the world of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. The museum is filled with artifacts, props, costumes, and memorabilia from the Sherlock Holmes stories, including the famous deerstalker hat and pipe.Visitors can explore the museum's three floors, which are decorated to resemble the rooms of Holmes and Watson's famous residence. The rooms are filled with intricately detailed sets, including Holmes's bedroom, sitting room, and study, as well as Watson's bedroom and the famous 221B door. The displays are captivating, and visitors can even interact with some of the exhibits such as sitting in Mr Holmes' chair.Overall, The Sherlock Holmes Museum is an absorbing and enjoyable experience for fans of the famous detective stories. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in London.

My all time hero Sherlock Holmes! I loved this residence of him because it is exactly what I have imagined in my mind. Whenever I enter the house, every scene from the book has started coming in front of me like alive! The house is well maintained and preserved. The museum also helps me to buy some iconic souvenirs of my hero.

If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan this place is definitely a must visit. The adult ticket was £16 when I visited which I thought was worth it. There was not much of a queue as I went early morning ( around 10.30am ), but I would advise booking tickets in advance for a queue jump. The museum has some interesting items on display and the staff were super friendly. They even gave a whole explanation about most items in the first floor apartment.

Definitely worth a visit for any Sherlock Holmes fan. However keep in mind that it's based on the books not the movie or series. The house is pretty small and can get crowded however still worth the visit. Please note it is not wheelchair accessible as there are no lifts, only narrow stairs. Also very close to Regent Park and Madame Tussaud.

I only went to the shop which is free entry and no queue. There is usually a queue if you really want to go for the paid entry to the museum. Wide spread of merchandise there as you can see from the photos, which is good. It can do better with some recommendations on which books to buy.

Charming museum, with interesting re-creations of 221B Baker St., as described in the books. If you're a more recent fan of Sherlock Holmes and only know the Benedict Cumberbatch show, you can still see a lot of similarities, especially in the parlor. You're guided through several rooms on 3 floors, where tour guides explain the significance of many of the items. There's a nice little gift shop as well. Admission is a little steep, but I enjoyed it overall, and staff was very friendly. Lots of interesting photo opportunities!
