Moved to Okotoks a few months ago and was looking for a new hair salon. Nu-You has great reviews and I was looking for something new as I had not been to a hair dresser in 5 months. I came in with hair past my shoulders and very washed out fashion blue mixed in with my natural grey, some of the blue had turned to a yellowy-green, which Jessica noticed right away. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but, at the time, I thought I was in my 50s so I should figure out a way to embrace my age. Jessica suggested we go back to my natural colour so the grey could grow out naturally and she would cut the extra length off to clean up the look. This all sounded great until I was home and tried styling it a few days and just couldn’t figure out what to do. So I went back and showed her a picture of me 13 years ago and said, the cut wasn’t what I wanted and could she maybe cut more off so I could do the old style I used to have. Not only did she wash, cut and style my hair again but she didn’t act upset or blame me or even charge me for the extra work, and this time, it was perfect. I can’t even begin to explain how much younger I feel and the compliments are daily…on the colour and on the cut. Friends and co-workers keep looking at me and making comments that I don’t look like the same person, and my husband can’t believe how much I look like I did when we met 10 years ago. I highly recommend Nu-You and am so thankful to have found a salon where they truly care about their clients. Thank you, Jessica!

Jessica is amazing! We’ve been going since she opened, my husband and kids are always happy with their cuts, and they are very picky! My daughter and I have our hair coloured and cut by her and she does an absolutely amazing job every time!I highly recommend Nu You hair salon in Okotoks!

My regular hair stylist moved out of province in the summer and I have been afraid to go anywhere else. Very last minute today I booked in with Jessica and am so happy that I did. The cut is perfect and the highlights are amazing!! I don't have the words to express how happy I am with the service and results. Thank you Jessica!!

Jessica always has a smile on her face and does an excellent job. Very professional. Today was the first time she coloured my hair, and gave me the exact color I wanted. I will visit her again soon! :)

First time haircut and low lights with Jessica and she did a fantastic job! She listened closely to what I liked and explained why some of the things I liked was not suitable to me. Jessica is kind and very friendly. Nu You is open on Sundays for half days for convenience of some. It was a wonderful time getting to know Jessica, her husband and son. This is a family atmosphere business! I highly recommend Nu You!

Let me start out saying that I do not have naturally beautiful hair. On a whim I dropped into the shop and met Jessica. She took me immediately and gave me one of the best cut I have ever had. She added the perfect color to blend the grey and I actually feel as if I have a style. My hair looks so pretty now.

Both my son and I got our hair cut here. The lady did a great job and my son even got candy out of the deal...haha

Saw Jessica for the first time yesterday for a cut. she did exactly what I wanted and I loved the result. Will be back.
