Arriving mid-week at 11:30 for lunch, the restaurant was already full and had a line-up to the door. As first-timers here, we passed our time studying the menu. We got seated in about 20 minutes and enjoyed the coming and goings of the local seniors who appear to love this place and seem to know each other. The servers in their Amish (or Mennonite?) bonnets were courteous, the table was spacious, and the prices were very reasonable. But the fried chicken was mediocre at best and had us masticating that dry breast meat for quite a while. We tasted little if any coconut or dairy cream in the coconut cream pie, usually one of our favourite desserts. I feel like we had a wholesome experience, just not a great food one.

This is a great family restaurant with home cooked" meals. They make delicious soups. I had a turkey and bacon sandwich made with real sliced turkey and a bowl of potato soup. They also have some features with varied portion sizes which is great because different members of your group can select what suits their appetite. Their prices are reasonable but go prepared for cash or debit - not credit (which is one reason their prices are reasonable). They have a bakery and store. My only complaint is that they put all their fresh bread in plastic so the bread goes soft and loses its crustiness. When I buy from a bakery I like the bread put in a paper bag to keep the crust crunchy. It's hard to find a bakery that does this."

I got the baked chicken, and it was moist and crispy. The baked cheese roll was soft and flavorful. They also had endless pie options and a bakery if you want to buy some to go.They give a great portion size with plenty of side options to choose from to accommodate for everyone, including my vegetarian and keto diet friend.I highly recommend it!

Fantastic Breakfast but the bakery items are the best. I love the little James as they call them. Loaded with sweet flavour. The pies are always amazing and the donuts are so fresh. At work we have an agreement with the sales team that anyone going within a short distance they must stop and get donuts for everyone.

I had my first visit yesterday and I will be a repeat customer even though it is a 1 hour drive from home. I had the broasted chicken which was juicy and delicious. The small portion was very generous and the prices are excellent. There are so many dessert choices! Not too many places offer raisin or elderberry pie!

Consistenly great quality food and baked goods. Their turkey dinner is amazing, as are their pies and donuts! You can see why they are so busy all the time. Friendly, prompt service as well. Will be back again.

Always a good meal at Anna Mae's. We were seated quickly even on a busy Saturday afternoon. Server was friendly and attentive. Meal arrived hot and timely. Best chicken around! If you haven't been, definitely check this place out.

Heard about this restaurant this past week so we decided to visit. It was definitely worth the drive. Excellent food, great friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable. Nice bakery and gift shop as well. Will visit again.

Had the small meat portion with desert. Lemon meringue pie might be the best pie I’ve had. Chicken is similar in style to kfc but made at a higher quality.
