Whonnock Lake Park
Discovered this little quaint lake with beach access and abundant picnic spots. Lots of parkings and busy but not crazily crowded like Buntzen Lake. Great for swimming in the hot summer or paddle boarding.

This place is a nice hide away spot. Good for swimming,the water is warm. Great for kids and family also Picnics and Kayaking . Will definitely be back !!!!

Great place for picnic. Neat and clean washroom/ changing rooms. Try to go early because it’s not that much bigger but very nice

Whonnock Lake Park
A cozy lake and picnic area in Maple Ridge. It has a nice kids playground which you rarely can find in many lakes. You can swim, ride your boat and barbecue here. Dogs on leash are allowed to the area. Must go soon in the morning to find a parking spot.The good point about the lake is it doesn’t need to get day pass in summer and if every lake day pass was sold out, don’t hesitate to go here and enjoy.

Super fun park day to experience. Great, clean beach and swim area. Lots of people but still room for parking and a place for us on the beach. We'll be back!

Great place to bring your kids.There's a small playground, and a nice wooded area to play in. A small roped off area to swim, although the water doesn't look the best to swim in. Lots of canoeing and kayaking on the lake.

Really beautiful place to come and visit. It was quiet the day I visited around 7.30 in the evening. There was plenty of parking but probably packed on a sunny day.
