William's Court - Killam REIT Apartments

Don’t rent with them. My niece rented from them and when she left, they didn’t give her last month deposit. They told them that they will use the money to repair the normal wear and tear from their deposit. Which is very unfair. Very bad customer service even from the head office. And don’t deal with their Unprofessional administration employees Yeans and Hannah .

This place was absolutely garbage, from the staff to their help line. Never even think of getting a place here they will take ur deposit over the lightest issue. All in All a garbage facility .

Worst Place to stay!!! Staff names Yeans and Hannah are not professional and Liz is no help with anything. They just waste your time saying they will get someone to call back but never return the call. When calling head office, they refuse to provide names. They took my last month deposit and never returned it. They faked the damages and gave me a bill of over $1000 for a fogged cooktop. They are liars and will steal your money. Do not trust them!!! The evidence is shown by many tenants that they are trying to play games with everyone. Williams Court, you have been exposed. You will be reported and anyone who has had this experience, please report them to Landlord and Tenant Board !!!! Don’t let them continue to do this.

Took advantage of my financial situation by tacticly doing an upgrade under my expense. Horrible place to live in. The staff members in the same office provided me with contradicting and wrong information when asked a question about their policies, and extremely rude and unhelpful.There is so much to say but this review is a warning to those who even think of staying in a place like this. DO NOT! Basically made me pay another last month deposit at time of my departure so it is not named as a damage deposit. Then they will look for things that need upgrading in the apartment to attract the next customer, and nitpick at you for the littlest thing you could imagine, and instead using a few dollars to fix that tiny problem, they will order the whole item to be replaced at your expense using that so called 'second last month deposit'. Weird isn't it? I was shocked!

Do not think about living here as I had the worst experience. Property manager Reza, did my inspection and lied that We scratched and ruined the cooktop( even though it was already fogged up from the beginning) + many other things wrong in the apartment like rusty sinks, ceiling full of dirty spots. Nothing luxury at all about this place. They took another repayment from me for my last month instead did using my last month deposit and now is wanting to charge me 1300 for a cooktop replacement. They lied they will give me last month deposit but I never received it. And I left April!!!! Also to mention, requested for the receipt and the receipt says they ordered another stove as it didn’t make sense why a cooktop will cost 1300. Basically, using my last month deposit for their upgrades in the building . Also, the reception employee named Hannah and Yeans very unprofessional and disrespectful as they don’t have any knowledge about anything . Have given me wrong information multiple times and also talked about my personal situation outside the hallway instead of asking me to come in. Called head Office too and still haven’t got an email about anything about how I have been treated. Call the corporate head office and the lady doesn’t want to give me her name and hangs up the phone. That’s fishy. They clearly don’t have any confidence in their business. As I report them to Landlord and Tenant board , please do not make the mistake of living here. They are liars and unprofessional and nothing luxury about their service or residence +will never return your last month deposit.

The property management is engaged in dishonest practices. They sent me bills for renovations they decided to make after my departure, claimed it was for damages, and threatened to report me to the credit bureau. If you're already a tenant, make sure to have evidence your unit is in good shape before you leave.

Williams court has an extensive lawn and garden sprinkler system that should be operating to support the grass, shrubs and trees in centre court.Unfortunately the system is only partially functioning due to lack of maintenance,allowing large sections of grass west of the flagpole, to turn brown and potentially terminate.Three years ago the entire centre court was lush and green;now it resembles an abandoned back yard..The sprinkler system is there; lets use it!William Bain the weed man !

I am very dissatisfied with the maintenance who is in charged of our building. Her name is Maria. You can see her smile with the other tenants but she doesn’t treat everyone like that and not helpful to all. Why I said this? First, when you message her she will not respond, only once she responded when we just moved in. I requested her to help with the bathtub sink because the water doesn’t go down but there were no response at all. I ignored it. You can see her in the trash area all the time with her cellphone but when you message her she will not reply. From that time I didn’t even bother asking for any assistance and because of the poor service we decided to move out. When we are moving out, I messaged her before 7 pm to help us with the lift so it will be easy to put our stuffs but no response again. Then my partner decided to call her around 8ish, guess what’s her response? Moving is not allowed after 8, she should have informed us when she received my text. How we will know about it? Also if she helped us booked the lift then it could take us only an hour to move our stuffs but because of her very poor service it took us 3 hours to move out. She chose only people that she will be nice and helpful. And also when my partner tried to call her again to tell her about my messaged that she didn’t respond, she turned off her phone! And we believed she is the contact person for any emergency in the building so she shouldn’t turn off her phone at all. I am so dissatisfied with her very poor service. The place is nice and all, and with the price we paid I guess we don’t deserve that poor service given by your staff. I guess you should find someone who treats everyone nicely and fair.

I have recently moved into Williams court, I was immediately impressed with the leasing staff. They coordinated and assisted with my entire move. Now that I am resident and dealing with Kristi in administration and she has been extremely helpful, I always feel welcome coming into the office, no matter what the issue is. The common areas are always kept clean, the clubhouse is an amazing bonus to Williams court.I have been here for a short time, but I am incredibly happy with my experience thus far. I would recommend to everyone.

I live here. The claim that these are executive suites is is a joke if not an outright lie! The dining room floor was badly scuffed and the finish worn off. Killams answer was to refinish the area and leave the rest of the floor. Looks like you would expect from shoddy workmanship. A big shiny spot in the middle of the apartment floor while all the surrounding is faded and worn. Use of the swimming pool is dictated by paid for instruction by an outside instructor. I was told that I had free access to the pool but apparently only at the times they aren’t making money off of it! Been waiting two months to get the upper part of my microwave replaced. It works mind you so I guess they don’t care about the esthetics of an executive suite LOL! The building manager is great but his hands are tied by a deceptive management. Frankly, I like living here, the community is great, the building manager is great, it is just apparent disrespect that Killam constantly show towards their clientele that is so frustrating!
