Go to another rescue if you can! These people are extremely dishonest! My friend fostered a dog and was told that they’d “forward” her his vet records and never did, the dog came to her aggressive and sick, when she told the rescue they blamed her and accused her of not being honest after the foster dog got her own dog very sick. When told the rescue about the foster dogs behavior they told her not to tell anyone bc the dog wouldn’t get adopted. Don’t you think it’s VERY important for a potential adopter to know if the dog is aggressive or sick? Everything was done thru text messages which is very shady, she ended up returning the dog and they literally harassed my friend for well over a month over it and threatened to call animal control on her for “neglect” of her own dog bc she returned the foster dog. Communication is non existent! After reading thru some of the other reviews I’m seeing that this is a pattern for them to foster out aggressive and sick animals, shame on you for calling yourself a “rescue” go elsewhere

We adopted a dog about 4 months ago, and I love her. However she was given to us before being spayed, do not do that. They give no follow up checkup, my dog has been having complications that another vet cannot figure out. I called 2 weeks after her spay when they began happening and they said sorry find a new vet, no help at all.

Zero feedback on being denied adoption, not just a particular cat but in general for their whole organization? We do have a hectic household (2 bonded kitties, a young beagle mix, no kids though!) so that may be it? Missing vaccination date? References being my in-laws??? We are dedicated parents to our furry children and are very experienced with cats and dogs… I see that we are not the only ones to have this experience. Extremely disappointing to not even have a dialogue, reasoning, maybe the cat we chose would not be a great fit for our household, okay, who might be??? We lost our eldest kitty earlier this year and want to adopt, perhaps, an older soul, but one comfortable with an excitable young beagle. So we will be looking elsewhere for adoption.

Allowed an aggresive rescue in a city home with several dogs/cats in the area. Dog advertised as a sweet heart" and "good with kitties"...attacked my 7m old aussie in my OWN BACK YARD sending her to the emergency vet. My 2 comments on fb about dog were deleted and I was blocked. Can't handle their intake... false advertising

So my husband and I tried to adopt a dog named Maxwell, he is so cute and would’ve been a perfect match for our family. But because we have a another dog that we didn’t have neutered we were denied the opportunity to adopt Maxwell and give him a loving home. Because quote we didn’t have the same beliefs as the shelter. Because they won’t to prevent more dogs from being born and people not wanting them which is understandable, but that shouldn’t been enough reason to stop a family willing to drive almost 2 hours away, pay a adoption fee and live time care for a dog. So I called them to plead my case with them and they wouldn’t even consider my family all because of us choosing not to neuter my other dog Steel which is a 5yr German Shepherd that still thinks he is a puppy and not once have we ever had a problem with his health or behavior (which is the main reason the shelter wouldn’t consider us). They made us feel like we weren’t good enough to give a dog a loving home. So if you are thinking about adopting a dog from this shelter I hope you either don’t have a animal or it’s spayed/neutered because if not you will get turned down too. This is truly heartbreaking for us.
