Kananaskis Hall

In need of some serious renovation for the entire building; ESPECIALLY their lifts which I’ve gotten stuck in more times than I’d like to count. Often times, the lifts won’t even be working and you’ll be forced to climb 7 flights of stairs to get to your room. The shared bathroom needs more showers installed and should have extra paper towels on hand.Rooms are extremely small with an even smaller closer for a student dorm room and also have terrible mattresses in use. Only good thing I can think of is the drawers provided beneath beds and the tunnels connected to the Dining Centre.The reason why I’m so displeased in particular is because the unreasonably high prices being paid for these dorms are absolutely not worth what we get in return. Would not recommend, but first years are given no other choices if you want to live on campus.

The best option for first year international students

Cheap to live. However, we had reaccuring maitence problems that took forever to fix including the ceiling and the elevators were always down. We also found mold in the ceiling. Terribly maintained however the cleaning staff were all Sweethearts.

It's been well over a decade since I've been here. Some of my best memories came from this place, as well as life long friends.
