Too many people think that they do not have to talk or say hello to grandparents, parents or most important the kids

To whom this may concern;This evening, I was at JackAstor’s in Kitchener. Unfortunately we sat by your minor hockey league with approximately 60 in attendance including children & adults.I NEVER witnessed such an event like such. As a Registered Early Childhood Educator it is my DUTY to report any neglect or abuse. What I seen this evening was beyond DISGUSTING. Children were left unattended parents had their backs to the 2 tables with approximately 20 children. The children were hitting, punching, kicking, slapping each other in the faces, rolling on the restaurant’s floor.NOT one parent stood up to stop this! All enjoying their beers and laughs amongst adults.The children then ran around bumping into other tables while wrestling & stood on tables pushing on a plexiglass shield hitting my child’s head with it ruing our evening out. She cried & was shaking so badly she couldn’t finish her meal. This team & “responsible adults” should be ASHAMED of themselves to act like a bunch of wild animals in a public setting.It is your responsibility to parent & COACH these young children. Never in my 20 yrs of working in the ECE field have I ever witnessed acceptable BULLYING between children.This league needs some type of consequence for their actions! You are failing at teaching our children how to be responsible & respectful individuals in society.Did you happen to forget WE ARE STILL IN A PANDEMIC!?

Great rink very clean. Enjoy going there for lacrosse.
