Avalon Dog Park
Good size park. We like to run to this one quick after work - as there's usually a decent number of dogs for ours to play around with. On the weekends we run to furdale for longer less busy hikes. We like how the disposal and bags are strategically placed around the park, and nice hill to climb. We don't bother with toys/balls here as it's better for our dog to just play with others.

Having a husky that requires an athletic day out, off a leash, and socializing.This park has not only what I have seen in friendly pups socializing, but it's nice to see friendly people on the same trails...A great place for me to take my service animal when he's off duty...

Avalon Dog Park
Close to the highway and pretty central location. The park is shaped like a donut with the middle ring fenced off for flooding and wildlife, there's a small forested part on one side of the park and a hill adjacent to the highway. Takes maybe 7 minutes to do a lap of the park so it is a great option when it's cold or you have limited time.

Not a bad spot to stop on our road trip across Western Canada. Full enclosed park great for off leash play. Leroy and Mickey had a great time running up and down the big hill and are now sleeping happily in the backseat.

Love going to Avalon but lately there have been owners not watching their dogs, or being oblivious to obvious signs that their dog is being reactive + aggressive, and should be leashed and lead out of the park.
