Two Small Men With Big Hearts Moving Company - Kelowna

New Update: Still waiting for my $200 since 1998. This company did contact me and later responded to my review but is still unwilling to reimburse me for damages. Don't pretend to be a new company when you won't fix your old wrongs. Greasy. So it is truly the same company, even if under new ownership. When you buy a company you buy both the good and bad reputation of said company.They moved me from Kelowna to Edmonton in the late 1990's and destroyed numerous pieces of furniture. The movers were late by a day, hung over, complaining and swearing while they loaded my things into the house very roughly damaging the walls.I phoned them next day, they mentioned their scummy by-the-weight insurance policy. They sent a guy who poorly repaired reptile cage and would discuss the remainder of what was owed to me which was a couple hundred bucks due to the other things damaged such as as an antique solid walnut coffee table, a solid oak futon, and numerous other things.I never did recieve the $200 owed to me. I even filed a claim with the Better Business Burreau and sent the debt to collections and I still was unable to collect the amount owed.

I was very impressed with my movers, Don and Amanda. They worked through a challenging move with humour and dedication. Being Amanda's first move, she amazed me with her strength, practicality and perseverance. I have moved many times and this was by far the most hours but well worth the cost.

This company, is extremely highly priced. Customer service was great until I got a call back for my confirmation move explaining if anything is broken you will get 1/8th of the value of ur items worth. Told I should have read my emails, though they said they just sent me a confirmation receipt of my deposit. If they lady isn’t happy about you questioning the reasons behind it she will call a manager and cancel your move. You will not be allowed to call and speak to someone other than her, other staff was amazing! She cancelled my move two days before my move, with two children in the house hold, and another family moving in the same day. I called around after and found company’s with proper payment options, far cheaper methods of moving. This company chargers you per pound, per piece of furniture, gas, kms, how many men, more for heavy objects, the list goes on! You name it. You’re paying high premium for it.!!!!DO NOT RECOMMEND this company! I’m glad they cancelled gave me the opportunity to speak to other companies this is not unheard for this company.

I recently hired the Two Small Men With Big Hearts Moving Company in Kelowna, and let me tell you, they certainly lived up to their name. The two men who showed up at my door were definitely small, but I'm not so sure about the big hearts part.First off, they were incredibly slow. I swear they took more breaks than actual moving time. And when they finally did start moving my furniture, they managed to scratch up my hardwood floors and dent my new fridge.But the real kicker was when they dropped my antique vase. It shattered into a million pieces and they just stood there staring at it like it was no big deal. I guess that's what they meant by big hearts" - they had hearts made of stone.Overall

I recently moved to Vernon from across the country and contacted TSMWBH to unload my shipping container. From start to finish the job went smoothly with the dates, times and costs provided as agreed. The best part of the experience was watching Alex and Trenton work diligently throughout the day. These guys were awesome. Respectful, friendly, efficient and hard working!! When it was all done there was not a mark, knick or dent in any of our furniture or house. While every ‘big’ company involved in our move dropped the ball, this company delivered as promised. I don’t plan on moving anytime soon but I know who I will calling if I do.

From the first moment I inquired about moving, I had 1000 questions and Kristen from the office took care of them all. I called back the few days before the move and my move expert was not available, so Erin stepped up and took care of it all. On the day of, Bernie and Art were exceptional! They showed up slightly early and we're on the job ASAP. Friendly, efficient and wasted no time getting the move completed. There were some hiccoughs at the drop-off location (through no fault of theirs) but the guys worked around them perfectly. I would highly recommend those guys for your move.

I did a lot of research and talked to multiple movers in Kelowna before I decided to go with TSMWBH. And I am really happy with my decision. Richard, Art and Kerry were extremely professional and did an amazing job. They were very careful with our furniture. I would highly recommend this team. Just choose them and have full peace of mind!

Kerry and his team arrived right on time. They did a walk through of our home to see what had to move and they got right to work. They wrapped up every piece of furniture and took good care with our items and our walls. At the other end, after another walk through, they knew and remembered exactly where to put everything. They helped with furniture set up as well. Super polite too! I definitely recommend this moving company!

I recently used Two Small Men with Big Hearts, Kelowna, for not just one, but two moves, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! The first move was a big one - from Edmonton to Kelowna in 2022 - and they made the process so much easier than I ever could have imagined.The team of movers, Kerry, Richard, and Frank, were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were not only professional and efficient, but they also had excellent personalities that made the experience fun and stress-free. I was really impressed with their attention to detail and how careful they were with our belongings. They made sure everything was safely packed and wrapped, and nothing was damaged in transit.But that's not all – 3 months ago, I also used Two Small Men with Big Hearts to pack and wrap my basement, and they did an amazing job. They were thorough, organized, and made sure everything was packed securely. I didn't have to worry about a thing!Overall, I would definitely recommend Two Small Men with Big Hearts to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, safe and friendly moving company in Kelowna. Their team of movers were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Thanks for making my moves so easy and stress-free!

If there was a way to vote zero stars I would, they charged my girlfriend for 6 hrs instead of the 4.5 it took them to move a two bedroom suite with nothing in it. They removed a door to get a desk out that did not need to be removed. They wasted time carrying boxes together that my small girlfriend packed and carried. She even helped them move some of the stuff. They wasted an hour and a half driving to the location because of traffic and filling up for gas. They couldn’t read I guess either because the boxes were not where they should be even though they’re labeled. My girlfriend was tired and intimidated and ended up paying them way more money then it was worth or even fairly priced as they didn’t even work the 6 hrs. Not to mention they were 1.25 hrs late too wich made everything fall behind and just very unprofessional. Just beyond ridiculously terrible services and their customer support/ sales team isn’t any help either they just want to cash in on more dishonest money. Absolutely disgusted by these services today.
