Zakuska Market and Deli

One of my favorite places in Kanata! Their sandwiches are delicious and so are all of their different meats. Also, they are so kind and are great with dietary restrictions.

Super great store! Truly reminds me of the older type of European stores. What makes this store amazing is really the staff. Yes the products are great too, but 5 star service.I typically get my deli meat here since it's different and grat quality and fresh. There are also other great things like fish or little treats. Worth a stop for sure if you want to discover something different.Other great things about the store.- selection is unique and if you want something different- ask for samples if you like on the deli... They are great to try and find something different- extremely kind and especially to kids (even had Santa Christmas time)- pricing is fair- Always clean and kept up

My family loves Zakuska! We often order their charcuterie board and it’s a mega hit every time!!! If you are looking for fresh deli and exceptional customer service, this is the place!

Just shopped at the store, my daughter and I got the best service ever, we were offered samples to try, all delicious! we bought Swojska, Dried Huron Sausage, Hungarian Sausage, fresh Bread Light sourdough, and cheery cake, it is so good! Highly recommended this store! We will come back soon for sure!

A wonderful deli with a wide variety of delicious meats, cheeses, desserts, and snacks. The staff are friendly and make me feel welcome. Worth going to at least once a week, possibly more!

I saw this place and did a double take. Zakuska for those who don’t know is technically a veggie spread found all over East Europe. It’s very ambigious. I couldn’t go in but told my parents about it. What comment did they make? ‘well Zakuska is all over eastern Europe’Once I went in, it was like east European wonderland. They were right, it’s ambiguously east European.The deli? To die for. And they let me try it! The selection? Incredible. Smoked fish. CAVIAR? CAVIAR! Frozen treats. Baked goods. Drooling.Honestly? The best deli I’ve found in over a year of living in Ottawa. And it satisfied my need to find east European food here, leaving the ABC euro delicatessen hole that Toronto left in my heart.

First time in here today, so glad I found this shop.- great customer service: folks working inside had a mom/pop feel which I appreciated. Very down to Earth.- delicious sandwich: will definitely be back for more- yummy cake: we tried peach/almond and chocolate cheesecake. A very light cake that goes down easily.- neat store: there are a lot of cool grocery items, along with a full deli of meats and cheeses cut to order.-fair prices: I'm happy to pay for quality. Sandwich was $12, and cake was $3.50ish/100 grams.10/10, and thanks a lot!

I was there on the weekend with my family. Owners were friendly. The meat was delicious. Short drive to store. We will absolutely see them again.

Really nice grocer with deli. Bought some meat which was stellar and some exotic pop. Lotsa awesome imported items to try. Customer service is superb.
