honestly the best coffee place i have been to and pretty sure i'll always drop by there if I'm nearby. this pretty quickly became the place I'd go to get my afternoon coffee

The food was delicious, drinks were superb and the view from the outdoor seating looking onto Paddlers Cove was the cherry on top. Great job!

Cute cafe with a small menu of coffee/tea, baked goods, soups and sandwiches. Service was quick and friendly. The interior was decorated to have cabin vibes while overlooking the lake. They also have outdoor patios spots which would be perfect for the summer!

Charming cafe by the lake with fabulous coffee, food and views. Breakfast sandwich was great vegetarian option and my husband enjoyed his BLT. Latte was great and got a blueberry scone to go. I loved the laptop ban from 10-2 pm ! Nice patio and lakeside seating and dog friendly .

Nice country feel although furniture is a bit on the fragile side. I've been several times, once the place was freezing. There is abundant parking and great staff.

Cozy spot on the water. I visited on a rainy day so couldn't take advantage of the patio but, inside the cafe is very homey and comfortable. It was quite busy when I was there but not overly loud. I had the grilled cheese and iced hibiscus tea and both were delicious! All the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was just what I was looking for after driving into town from the airport.

Cute, very 'cottagy' little cafe on Lake Banook. I've only been twice, both Tim Saturday morning with a lovely view of the lake. Get here right at 9am if you want to ensure a seat, as there are nine small tables that seem to fill up with locals. Noticed both times that the customer demographic is a bit older (middle aged average, myself included...happy to not have any screaming kids both visits. LOL). Anyway, friendly staff who will bring your order to your seat. Tasty candy cane latte is not too sweet, nice and frothy. Delicious breakfast sandwich is just enough on its own to have a light, but satisfying breakfast. A flat bun with egg, tomato, greens, a cheese, apparently mushroom which I didn't notice, but bit of caramelized onion and honey mustard? (Very different but nice change of flavor from your average breakfast sandwiches at most places). I added bacon for $1 to round it out. To me the only way to improve here would be to make it bigger, and maybe add some rotational breakfast items to change it up? (Just as a person who likes to always try something new). But after this 2nd visit, I definitely do want to come back soon to try the fish cakes and a few other things at lunch. And oh, no laptops or tablets between 10 and 2. I LOVE that...to give lunch goers a chance at a table, vs those who want to just get a coffee and work for a couple of hours.3rd visit: arrived about 8:30 on a gorgeous Saturday morning in July 2023. A few people were already seated at their outdoor patio. I grabbed the same indoor table as the last visit, in the corner by the window. I didn't want the same breakfast sandwich again, so asked to add an egg to the BLT, which was very good on a bagel, not messy at all. Perfect match with an iced latte.

Great little place for breakfast or a coffee. The views from their outdoor patio of lake baboon are wonderful. Their coffees, breakfast and baked goods all hit the spot. The butterscotch rolls were a favourite.
