Hertz Car Rental - Limerick City - Ennis Road HLE

Have used Hertz Limerick for business rentals for years because their cars are dependable. Their prices are competitive and the staff are amazing, no matter how busy they are, every customer gets a friendly welcome and efficient professional service.

I am trying to lease here. The Manager created an atmosphere and a non-existent reality. He was rude, threatening, and after two hours he didn't rent the car. I made claims for an investigation, and they concluded that the customer was the problem. They didn't really investigate what his staff did against the client. I'd really like to know what the manager's story was that saved his job after all the bad treatment I received. They sent a letter to my house, with a story made up by the Manager and they appropriated my money. I will continue to prove the truth in court.

I had a number of different hires during this past month and I was dealt with in the most informed and helpful manner each and every time. A great crew of people. We booked online to rent a car for a weekend with a full ensurance. We were asked our age and were able to make the reservation without any problem or warning. When we arrived, as we didn’t have a credit card and were 26 years old (under 27 years old), we were told to pay more than a thousand euros as a deposit (I think it was two thousand, but I’m not sure). They told us that on the webpage you weren’t asked your age (when you actually were asked) and that with that age you couldn’t book the full ensurance, that the system wouldn’t allow it (when it actually did). So as they didn’t know how their webpage worked and were just all the time saying that they were the ones right… we finally went to Europcar, where we didn’t had any problem and it is the place where at the moment we actually go everytime we need a car with full ensurance.

Very bad experience. Bad customer serviceHi, I rented a car on 6th April, from Ennis Road Limerick at 8.30 AM. While giving the car, it was smooth. I booked the car for one full day. Since my work got finished early, I dropped a car at the Ennis Road location by 3.40 PM. When I went to give the keys, no one was there at the desk, and I was told to put the keys on the table, which I did.After that, I did not receive any invoice for almost 4 days. I contacted the rental agency, they said it will be processed immediately. But it did not happen. I called customer service on 13th April, mentioning the situation. They told me that they will resolve the issue within a day. But it did not happen. Then I wrote an email on the 13th of April, mentioning the issue. After 7 days I received a reply with an invoice, which I do not understand. In the email, it was mentioned that A one-way rental fee of EUR 10.00 was applied upon return also

When I collected this van replacement from Hertz all could not have been better, until I went to replace it. First I was told the place I collected the van from Ennis Road limerick, does not hire vans ! Nobody told me that when I hired it ! 2. The person I engaged with when he came to pick me up from a garage on dock road was just soo helpful.He told me to contact him on my return & same again would drop me back to my garage.However what really happened, they wanted me to drop the van off and get a taxi back to the garage.I won’t be using this service again,Marty.
