Right off the bat I will say that this is a different type of donut. The donuts taste more like a cakes than a donuts, which is great if you want a small cake. We ordered a couple of apple fritters a half dozen donuts, you cant help yourself when you see all the amazing flavours for the first time. The apple fritters were amazing, one of my favorite anywhere. The fritters had that awesome fried dough that was soft, with just the right amount of glaze that sticks to your fingers and they were loaded with apples. Like I said above, the dough part of the donut tastes like a cake with different toppings and icing. The donut does taste great but when you want a fried donut experience this will not do, if you like cake and this is for you. The different flavours do taste great and they load them up so you're never left wanting more. I will definitely go back and order the apple fritters and maybe just one donut for myself.

Got a half dozen Valentine’s day donuts (variety of flavours) and they were so delicious! The actual donut is crispy on the outside but soft and moist on the inside. The toppings are fun and yummy. I literally am dreaming of the next time I can grab some!

We have tried a variety of the donuts & mini mavs, every favourite flavour tried, is the best the person has ever had!! I am not a huge donut fan, but Mavericks donuts are delicious!! .The owners are very friendly, service was good. We will be back for sure.

Such a quaint little spot with just delicious donuts. The donuts themselves are delicious. The texture along with all the different type of styles makes this place a big win. And even more so the flavour of the Gluten Free donuts have us screaming for more. If you haven’t already, give this place a try. Excellent, wonderful tasting donuts! I won't be coming as often because my 2 favourite donuts are gone because they're seasonal. Wasn't happy at all with the donut I tried today. From what I've read/heard the lemon ricotta was a popular one. Why stop it? I'll come back when that one or the cherry cheesecake one is back again.

Nice friendly staff and a good location. Good selection and a solid coffee choice to go with breakfast donuts. Lemon ricotta should be returned to it's original concept with the filling stuffed inside the donut. It was heaven. Doesn't work in the ring style.

My husband went on his work break and grabbed two “expensive” donuts from Stinson’s on Bank, they where absolute garbage, super hard, definitely NOT fresh, you’d figure for the price of 2 almost coming to $10 that they’d not be hard as a rock? So unfortunate. Will definitely think twice about stopping in again.

I went to try it for the first time, very disappointed, the donuts are tiny and very expensive! I was going to buy an apple fritter which the price on the menu sign said $4.50, but came up on the cash at $4.95 plus tax. When I mentioned it to the clerk she had no clue about the price discrepancy. It is law in Ontario that you must charge the posted prices. I will never go back!

Yummmm! The donuts were so good... Almost like mini cakes. While the chocolate Oreo and strawberry glazed donuts were good, my favourite has to be the powdered sugar one. It was so soft and thick. Definitely would go back to Ottawa just to try it again.

Been purchasing the vegan donuts now for a while but very shockingly found out that they contain honey which is not vegan at all. As I went in and saw the donuts being decorated and when I asked what they use I was told that honey was one of the ingrediants. The employee did not seem aware that honey is not vegan. I am very disappointed and appalled by this
