Great store. Friendly staff. Helpful and fun to deal with. They will order in stuff for you. Organized and clean.

Excellent selection, the staff are super knowledgeable and take the time to answer questions. One of the best places to buy wine and local craft booze in the city.

Great selection. Points program. A few bucks more than other places though (maybe 10%). Although they do have great wine sales if you can catch what you want. They will price match I believe but you don’t want to have to do that every visit.

Amazingly good selection for beers compared to be many of the other smaller stores in the area. I also really like to see they are supporting many great independent Canadian breweries and distilleries, rather than capitalizing on the Molson craft" brands which are all

I had an amazing first time experience at Highlander! As a novice in Wine and Spirit, Franklin, one of the staff literally gave me one of my best customer service experiences I have ever had!We walked through the store while he gave me interesting tidbits and introductions to various products. He talked about his favorite drink, how it's made, and why it is a good product. He mentioned which staff had specialized knowledge in particular products from a country. For example, he said that, Nate is his go to guy about Japanese liquor because of his travels in Japan.Overall, I had a great time here and I definitely see myself coming back to try another recommended drink. Oh, I didn't mentioned, Franklin convinced me to try the Valpolicella 2017 as my first introduction to Italian wine, so I bought it. Hasn't tried it yet, but I know it'll be good!

When it comes to spirits and wine I’m a gawker. I come in thinking one thing and then get distracted by 50 other things.Shyann and team helped me stay on the right track and get a unique and cool bottle of spirits in a tight time crunch. She asked me my price range, types of spirits I was looking for and once we had a wheelhouse, she listed off some unique bottles in the store. She gave the time I needed to think it thru and it was pressure free. At the till, her partner was friendly with other clients, the store just had a great vibe. Finally they were able to wrap the bottle which was a super nice touch.This store is local and does a lot of work with the community. Can’t recommend it high enough.

We always go here! Been going to this place since it was a stand alone store where Home Depot is now! Great prices, service and selection!

On a couple of occasions staff has been unfriendly. Most importantly, the selection is limited. They never have anything that I want, or what they advertise they should have. I know there are supply chain issues with Covid but they don't have ANYthing - like my top 5 different scotch choices -- not One?? Crazy. Other Liquor stores seem to be managing to have stock so ... I'm not sure what to say...It's too bad because they're my local store and dog friendly. But I have to go elsewhere.

Visited first time last weekend. Girls working that day were lil too busy in their own chitchat and did not ask if needed help or no sort of greeting even. But that is perfectly alright, I went for wine (which they have great collection BTW!) so might be going again. Could find enough variety from all countries and in all price ranges.
