My figure skates were mistakenly sharpened incorrectly at a hockey supply shop. I thought the blades were ruined. My coach recommended I take them to Valeri. He knew exactly what to do! He took the time to explain everything, and was friendly and kind. I was so grateful for his help and expertise. Thank you Valeri! See you again!

The experience at Esta has been nothing but positive and I’ve been going there for four years now. Quality products at a fair price. Costumes made in house, skates expertly fit and matched perfectly to the skater and ability. Valeri knows every customer by name something that I marvel at in this day and age. This is just a great place and I can be confident that I am going to get the skates that will help my child do her best.

This is a great local store, Valeri is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He is incredibly patient and works with the skater to find the perfect skate for them. We regularly get our skates sharpened here but will definitely be back to purchase our next figure skates

I only wish I could give a lower rating based on experience we have had at Esta. We ordered a white Zuca frame from this place and were told that they were on back order. Finally months later we got the call to come get it, but had to pay via e-transfer first. I get there and its a pink frame, not white. So Valeri tells me he made a mistake, but to hold on to this until the white frame arrives. At that point I should have just asked for a refund, but foolish me I trusted that I would get my white frame. Here I am 4 months later, still no white frame, and nothing but excuses from him on why I can't get my money back. He's busy, holidays, not at the office. I just want a refund for the wrong frame that I never ordered. Not to mention the frequent drives to Oakville. Even before this I made multiple trips for skates, the first time he didn't show up. The other time didn't have the skates, and finally got them 3rd time. Now the frame, its never ending...I don't understand any of the positive reviews based on the service we've received here. We want our money back!!

The very best place in Oakville for professional sharpening of figure skates!! You will pay a bit more than your local hardware store but the owner can customize to your EXACT needs as a skater. Also very professional service. Highly recommend!!! Be forewarned the parking is nasty! Pay close attention to signs! There are only 3 Visitor parking spots or it is PAID PARKING.
