British Swim School of LA Fitness - Square One

Absolutely horrible service, I’ve emailed twice, called 4 times and left messages for someone to call me back on separate days for weeks now as I was interested in enrolling my son for swimming lessons.. and no one has gotten back to me.. thanks for absolutely NOTHING!!

Small class sizes so the teachers have more time to focus on each child. I love the life saving skills being taught to both my2 year old and 8 year old alike. Both have progressed and became confident with their swimming since starting British swim school. Teachers are fun and competent and make my kids feel comfortable in the water!

Horrible facility, extremely dirty. NOT AT ALL Recommended. Parents and visitors are allowed with their outside shoes to come around the pool. It had created dirt puddles around the pool. Bird feces were always beside the entrance door. The showers in the family room never had warm water. The front desk at LA fitness is very rude and unwelcoming. The swim school told me to go talk about these issues to LA fitness front desk (customers had to solve this business issue!!!!) . When I did, I got yelled at. At the end I cancelled the classes for my daughter. I know at least 1 more family that cancelled because of these issues. My daughter did not go for her last session; they charged us 5 dollars extra because we did not go and we did not NOTIFY them.

My kids learned so much since their earlier days in the Starfish program, and my husband and I will be forever indebted to the school.  Kalaine is a strong & passionate instructor (also the franchise owner) who has been instrumental to my kid's growth as swimmers. After a year in the Barracuda class which focuses on endurance and fine-tuning their swimming strokes, my kids have the confidence to pursue the Bronze Star. Kudos also to the Admin staff for always being easy to deal with and keeping parents informed of pool closures. We will miss the British Swim School family!

Terrible and disgusting! Pool water was cold for kids. My daughter always was shivering and complaining about cold water. Around the poll was soooo dirty. All parents and LA fitness people were coming with outdoor shoes around the pool where kids sit with swimsuit. showers were dirty . Hair was everywhere on the floor specially in the changing room. I never recommend to anyone.

Far best location in all … I found instructors encouraging to learn new techniques each session and raising the bar..

Great program for children to learn the life saving ability to swim. Affordable and small classes so the instructors give each child attention. The levels are set up so you can clearly understand what they need to be able to do before progressing.

The staff & swimming instructors at the LA Fitness location are excellent. They teach well, are responsive to questions, and interact really well with the students.

Instructors are amazing, but facility is disaster. Water is cold, kids can’t finish classes cause they are shivering. LA fitness management said they will not return water temperature back to normal. So, we quit for another school.Oh, and no hot water in the family change roomThanks for the response! Aqua tots has no issues keeping the temperature at 90 degrees.
