Thistle Fish & Chips
The Halibut is amazing so flaky and perfectly cooked. The fries were good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Also received lots of vinegar and tartare sauce on the side!Wish they had side salads to order instead of fries.

Best fish and chips! Great menu that includes traditional Scottish fare. Great for all ages. Worth the drive. Will be back!

Thistle Fish & Chips
Thistle is a staple of Burlington for fish and chips. It has stood the test of time and provides good fish and chips. With fish so expensive to purchase you get less at a restaurant period. Even though I got a good portion and a good helping of chips. Odd though they choose a small plate where you push for room for your tarter sauce lol. The restaurant decor leaves lots to be desired but you are going for the good food. Be careful everyone they do close early. I did get take out and refreshed it in the airfryer which was soo good. Enjoy!

There is nothing to complain about this place. I’ve always loved coming here for Fish and Chips, and still one of the best I know of.Their service is always great, and the fish is always exceptional; perfectly battered, perfectly fried.I try other places, still come back to Thistle.

The Halibut is great. The coating perfect each time. The French fries are the way you used to get from the chip wagon. The clam chowder is nothing to sneeze at.

Good fish and chips and a pleasant dining experience. Haddock and Chips seems to be the trademark here. The fish is done with a very light batter but lacks a fully coating - the fries are fresh and decent but need a less saggy taste. Putting the fish directly on-top of the fries seems to alter the taste. Staff is wonderful! A little expensive.

We had fish and chips, my husband for the first time. He was shocked at how huge the portions are. Amazing quality of fish! Great fries even. Stuffed afterward. And on top of that outstanding service, Shawn was incredible!
