I was looking for a birthday gift for my pregnant friend and found Sprout Collection. I was impressed by the exquisite selection of maternity clothes that look so feminine and stylish. My friend absolutely loved the clothing and kept mentioning how she was complimented every time she would wear them. It was a tough choice for her to pick only 4 items for the first box because she fancied so many of them. Soon she is getting her next box of clothes.Definitely a good combination of price and quality plus you get an excellent customer experience. Highly recommended!

I wanted to love a subscription-based maternity clothing business - what a great idea for a niche in-demand market. However, Sprout Collection falls short for two main reasons:1. Once you are officially logged in (as a paying subscriber) you realize their vast selection is actually pretty limited when you search by size. I also realized with my first order that some of the items they rent out aren’t even specifically maternity clothes and don’t accommodate the bump.2. Considering the business is an online subscription, their customer service processes are shockingly bad. For instance, when I spoke with one service rep about my order he was confused about what items I had because he had looked up the wrong “Alice”. I’d hope they would have a more sophisticated system for using their client database than a first-name search. Secondly, when I decided the service wasn’t for me and canceled my subscription, they continued to charge me claiming I hadn’t returned the items. I have now just received confirmation that the error was on their side and am awaiting a refund.As I said, there is a lot of potential here and clearly, based on the other reviews, this subscription works for other pregnant mamas out there. I wanted to share my personal experiences to manage expectations for other prospective subscribers.

When I met a fellow pregnant woman at a party and she was wearing the most fabulous dress, I asked her where on earth she was buying her maternity clothes & she told me about Sprout. I signed up immediately! I remember rushing home to get online & select my first box. Being pregnant with my last child, I wanted to look fabulous but couldn’t justify investing in such a temporary wardrobe. Sprout was fantastic! I got tons of complements on the clothes, got to feel like I was wearing something fun & new, and the whole process was SO easy!!! I highly recommend renting from Sprout.

I'm currently subscribed, there are many aspects the business can and should improve. But the most relevant for me now is the timing, I don't hold the clothing for a month or in monthly basis.Date of return should be 1 month after delivery not 1 month after order, simple as that. Canada Post has been taking 3-5 businesses days to deliver my box most of the times.

I've been using this service for one year and I'm obsessed. It's been a fabulous way to keep my wardrobe fresh and fun in an eco-conscious way. I always find a large selection of appealing clothing and the items I rent usually fit perfectly (thanks to the review process which helps me determine which size I need). The customer service has been fast and adequate when I needed it. I definitely intend to continue renting with Sprout!

Joyce and team at Sprout Collection have been a god send during my last trimester of pregnancy. I signed up for the 3 month package for the last 3 months of my pregnancy when it was getting really touch to get dressed for work events and social gatherings. The selection of outfits are great, the quality of the clothes are phenomenal and the service provided is worth every penny.I've raved about them to all my friends and will continue to refer others to Sprout Collection during their pregnancy.Looking forward to non-pregnancy wardrobe as well!Worth every penny.Thanks Sprout team!

Pretty much the only clothing rental service in Canada, so I will continue for a few months but here are areas to improve:- Date of return should be 1 month after delivery not 1 month after order, Canada Post took 3 days to deliver for my order- Faster customer service response is a must considering this is an e-commerce business model- Bigger selection of clothing, compare to Rent the Runway in US. Expand target to beyond maternity (I know you're trying but again look at RTR). Also consider adding baby line?- Retire worn clothes earlier, some clothing had lots of reviews that it was too worn down and upon receival I have to agree- You asked for income and occupation at registration. It would be good to source clothing based on that feedback.Overall it was okay. The clothing I selected came as I expected, they had a value village clothing smell though which was off-putting, wish they smelled cleaner and looked more pressed and crisp.

I really wanted to love Spout -- cost-effective, environmental, Canadian business, woman-owned. But unfortunately I canceled after two months because only 1 out of the 9 items I ordered I actually ended up wearing for size, quality, or fit.I am expecting my first child in March so my experience was with regard to maternity clothing.- I was underwhelmed by the selection. While there's many product listings at first glance, I had a hard time finding product available in my size at the time it came for my monthly order. A lot of items were only available in one end of the size range (eg. XS and S, or only XL). I ended up ordering what was available rather than what I wanted as my first choice picks.- Some pieces I received were VERY worn, and all of them smelled, especially in my second box. There was a pencil skirt in particular that looked very faded and pilled, that I had been hoping would be a wear-to-work piece for me. For a company that touts the service as designer-clothing access, I would expect a much higher quality level and lower wear level.- Despite sizing up from my pre-pregnancy size to be on the safe side, I found most things were too small. I found it very difficult to get sizing right without the ability to order a backup size (like until Rent the Runway), especially as your body is going through unprecedented change.- When I contacted the company about my challenges and concerns, they didn't offer my any solutions except to cancel my subscription.Overall, this was an experiment that turned out to be a big money waster for me. I hope it's different for others but that was my experience.

I'm in my second month with Sprout Collection and I'm really enjoying it! This is my second baby, so I didn't want to buy more clothing that I'd just have to get rid of in a few months. Since I was pregnant at the opposite time of year with my first, a rental subscription made so much sense for me to get some great summer pieces without spending a fortune. Not to mention that I have six formal events this year and don't want to spend $200 per dress! Sprout Collection has been great - the customer service is wonderful, the selection is fantastic (and constantly growing), the quality of products is great and everything shows up either with new tags or dry cleaning tags!, and the shipping is fast and free! I highly recommend this program to any mamas-to-be!

Sprout collection is amazing! When my size was changing every month during my second pregnancy and I needed fashionable outfits for work and special occasions I was able to rent pieces, instead of buying them and only wearing them once or twice. The best thing is, I got 4 new pieces every month! They do an excellent job at choosing items that suit different styles and body types. I so wish they had been around for my first pregnancy!
