Phamtastic Nails & Spa (Varsity)

Hidden gem in varsity. Costumer service was on point, professional manicure and pedicure and massage. Jin was amazing, my first pedicure and I will be returning.

I had my nails done there by a really nice lady (Selina) I loved her work, she paid a lot of attention to detail and care about making my nails even and perfect, they play classical music inside so it was very relaxing! Definitely coming back with her.

I’ve never left a review for any place before, but I absolutely had to because I need to warn people about this place. As soon as a walked in they were very rude. Whatever, I get a previous acrylic set removed. She kept hurting me so badly and burning me with the drummel. It was about seven times I’ve yanked my hand away from pain. Even throughout the manicure, I’ve been continuously burned with the drummel. As for the work, horrible. They were so thick and they looked bumpy. I asked for square and she made them looked flared and duck shaped. I had to file them when I got home. I’ve never been so disgusted by an establishment as I am for this one. Please do not risk it and just make a booking for somewhere else! I should have stuck to my regular nail place

EDIT:Forgot to mention that in the middle of the session, the tech's phone rang at the main entrance. She left me on the table to answer her phone.First and last time there.The lady was so rude. The room was dirty, small, no space to put personal belongings.I explained that it was my first experience. The lady was really rude talking to me and trying to make me understand what she wanted me to do with my eyebrows.When it was the time to pay, they 'accept' way-spa gift card but you need to use it all at once. Nowhere it says that on the gift card nor on their website. They offered me the balance on a gift card from their place but since I won't go back, it's a waste of money.I don't understand how come they have 4 stars review. If I could put 0 star, I would.

I have been going to Phamtastic nails for over year and it is honestly the best nail salon I have ever been to. I see kashmir and she is amazing. She does a great pedicure. All the staff are very friendly and even the owners are super attentive to the customers. They are always on time with appointments and have never made me wait. They also on numerous occasions have gone above and beyond to fit me for an appointment last minute. Coffee and drinks are offered at every appointment. Love this place! Thank you Kashmir and the rest of the Phamtasticnail spa team for making every experience the best!

Booked my appt through wayspa but they didn't even have my booked in or aware of me coming in. I showed front desk woman my email exhange with Lin, and all was ok after that.Friendly workers but very slow (couple hours) for a new set of gel nails. They offered to fix the nails for free if they break, and multiple broke within two weeks. I had to superglue one on because the WHOLE nail came off, the other cracked off, see pic attached. unfortunately I live out of town and can't take them up on this offer for free repair.

We are always happy with Phamtastic Nails at Varsity. Their high quality service and respectful way to treat clients make us stay as regular. My sister and I were there yesterday for nail fills. I kept changing my mind during services, but my technician was so patient and got me what I really wanted at the end. We highly recommend this place to everyone and will bring my friends for services as well.

I had a pedicure yesterday for my birthday and I must say that overall, it was quite terrible. It wasn’t all bad. I will say that I’ve never had anyone spend as much time razoring and scrubbing my feet as they did... the bottoms of my feet are great. The reason for the negative review though is 1. She cut my cuticles so bad that they were stinging through the entire pedicure. Today, I can see little scabs along the cuticle line. 2. It was the most horrendous paint job I’ve ever had... the polish was so thick and globby. It dried bumpy with chunks around the edges of my toes :(. Since it was my birthday and I had dinner plans, I had to take off all of the polish when I got home and repaint them myself. Once again when I took the polish off, my cuticles stung like crazy because they were so cut up. I’m sure we can all agree that leaving a pedicure with a beautiful paint job is one of our favorite things and this was not the case for me which sucks because I loooved the color I chose. The lady doing my toes did try to fix one of them a couple of times by taking the polish off and repainting it again, but both times she cut corners and didn’t even do a base coat. The more she tried, the worse it got and it was clear that she just gave up in the end.Anyway, I just wanted to share my 2 cents in hopes that the salon will try to improve this for clients moving forward. No one wants to be cut up and have to repaint them toes after paying for the service.
