Poor bang for the buck for an average burger. Pricey at $16 for a regular cheese burger, drink and fries. Then one is put on the spot for a tip even though it's self-serve. Double the price compared to Johnny Burger on Victoria Park. I guess the place draws on nostalgia of people employed in the closed GM plant.

The place was clean, but really needing a new paint job, new floors and new ceiling tiles because it is just so old, but the decor is pretty cool.The burgers were tasty although if you're looking for fresh hand made burgers, look elsewhere. The toppings were tasty and the poutine gravy is really nice, but they use shredded cheese instead of curds.In anycase, they are friendly, and tasty.

We stopped here for a quick dinner. It was well worth it. The food was hot and fresh. There are many options on the menu and the portions are generous. I highly recommend the onion rings and the home burger. The staff were friendly and efficient. The decor is also fun, especially if you're a fan of 1950s pop culture.

I'm literally writing this in the restaurant because I couldn't wait to share how good this was. This is probably my favourite burger in Oshawa now.My order: Home banquet burger combo, upgraded the side to onion rings.Make sure you opt for the homemade burger, you can tell how fresh the beef is and makes it taste all the more amazing coming of the grill. The bacon on the burger also had a nice crisp that complemented the burger perfectly.Even the onion rings blew me away. The batter they use is thick without being doughy and they were a perfect, crisp, golden brown. The portion was also much larger than I was expecting for a side.Overall, you can tell everything is super fresh and I am leaving with a full and happy stomach.I will definitely be back.

Oshawa institution since 1976. Homemade onion rings are to die for but my absolute favorite is the crispy chicken sandwich. This place gets really busy so I usually call ahead for pickup. Friendly staff and fast service.

This is an old favorite place.the decor is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The store is clean and tidy, well lite and well maintained. The burgers are excellent as well as the sandwiches. Onion rings are very large. It's a must visit when your in south Oshawa.

I've now been here a few times when I'm in the area with friends around lunch. The service is fast and very personable. I like the fun names on the menu and the Elvis in the corner. A good value for what you get and great tasting food. I can see why this place has been around as long as it has.

Always have given this place a five star until today. A new lady is working there taking orders and acting like people are just trying to get free stuff. They don't know how to read orders properly off of Their own Ordering system. So the winer decided to leave in the middle of me telling her how to do her job l. I tip them so good... I'm taking a break going there, I've been there fifty two times!!!!!!

Best burger in durham! Always super fresh and well made. The onion rings are also amazing. Highly recommend adding the chipotle mayo dip for your fries! Well priced and order is always made quickly.

This place is great, and I've always loved the food and service that they offer. The GM burger with the works is amazing, and the onion rings are incredible. The atmosphere is subjective because it's got a 50's rock-and-roll vibe, loads of Elivis stuff, a wall of old car plates, which I really dig, but I can see why others may not.
