I love this store and the staff are exceptional and caring. I use the dog wash on a regular basis for my large bouvier. Today I was disappointed to discover PV HQ has replaced their dog shampoo supplied with the wash to an extremely watered down substandard shampoo. I had to ask staff for another bottle which was supplied but barely completed the job. Complaint filed with PV HQ.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff member. Great alternatives in addition to trusted products. Asked for dog toys on special to help stay on track with budget; however, none were available which was disappointing.

Nice store with good selection, we really like that they have big country raw food availble here as if we forget to order or need something we can just stop buy and grab some local.The staff was friendly when we were picking out a coat for our lab... Overall we've been here a few times and always found what we needed.

I went to the Byron location yesterday to use their dog wash as my son was playing soccer in the area and I had time to kill and a dirty dog. I normally go to Highbury North location and they have a fantastic dog wash, plenty of absorbent towels and shampoo. I arrive with my very large, very hairy Newfoundland mix. They hand me tiny bottles of shampoo instead of the regular bottles and 2 thread bare small towels. I was there with my other 10 year old son. Shortly after starting my son said he needed to use the bathroom...I was there alone with a soapy wet large dog so I told him to ask to use the store bathroom. The staff said NO?!?! I tried to quickly finish up for my son who said he couldn't hold it. I asked the staff again and again they said no. So I had to leave before finishing washing my dog, the towels did nothing to dry him and I had to walk through the store getting water everywhere and in my car because the staff couldn't have a little compassion for a child who needed to use the bathroom. I understand that your bathroom may not be for public use but I was there alone, using your service, one that I could not easily abandon, to get my son to a Tim Hortons down the road when you have a perfectly good bathroom in the store. I own a business and if someone walked in off the street with a child needing a bathroom I would happily let them use the bathroom. I will never return to this location. Extremely poor customer service! Terrible.
