Not the best communication and time management.

I had the pleasure of working directly with the owner of Greyfield on a unique design/build coach-house project. He was not only extremely knowledgeable on current building practices, but was also available to take my calls whenever I had a question (I had lots!). After the initial contract was drafted and signed, the work began immediately. The employees were friendly and courteous, focused on doing the best job. There were a few change orders issued due to unforeseen circumstances with soil removal and some changes made by myself and architect (in terms of overall design). I expected some changes to happen because I had dealt with these kinds of matters before (nature of the industry I suppose). Once a change issue was brought up, I was informed immediately. I really liked how transparent everything was, and again, any questions I had were answered. Ultimately, all decisions were still finalized by me. Although there were some minor hiccups, once the project was completed, I was greatly impressed. The quality of the workmanship really speaks for itself, and now when I have people over, I get asked all of the time, ‘who built that?’ The overall design and character of my coach-house is completely unique, with a custom cupola and reclaimed bricks, something that still looks great today. I highly recommend Greyfield if not for the knowledge of the owner, but for his ability to take my own vision and make it a reality (which was even better than what I could imagine).
